NFL Super Bowl Halftime Odds & Betting Analysis

The Super Bowl is normally the most-watched event of the year. The Super Bowl isn’t just a football game, there is also an entertainment aspect to it for non-sports fans. The commercials are usually brand new and very entertaining, so those appeal to people who normally wouldn’t watch a football game. Another entertainment attraction other than the game itself is the halftime show. This year’s halftime show will feature hip-hop stars from the mid-to-late 1990s and the first two decades of the 2000s. Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige will headline the halftime event. We may even see a surprise artist or two make an appearance.

Along with the halftime show come numerous prop bets. Some of the prop bets include which act will be the first to sing, speak, or rap, what song will be the first one performed, along numerous other ones. Let’s take a look at some of the Super Bowl Halftime Prop bets.

Super Bowl Halftime Odds | NFL Betting

Who Will Be the First Artist to Sing, Rap, or Speak?

Right now the best odds belong to Dr. Dre at 2.30. Dre was a huge artist in the 1990s and is from the Los Angeles area. He had numerous huge hits, including one that many feel will kick off the halftime festivities. Next up is Snoop Dogg at 2.40. Snoop is also from the Los Angeles area and may be the most well-known hip-hop artist in the world. Eminem at 4.00, Mary J. Blige at 4.50, and Kendrick Lamar at 5.00 round out this prop.

What Will Be the First Song Performed?

Many feel that California Love by Dr. Dre will be lead off the halftime show. Since the Super Bowl is being played in Los Angeles, this would be the perfect anthem to lead off the show. The odds for this song are 1.91. Another popular choice by the oddsmakers is Next Episode by Snoop Dogg at 2.90. Forgot About Dre comes in at 7.00.

This one is a collaboration between Dr. Dre and Eminem. Kendrick Lamar’s Humble at 7.50 could be a sneaky selection. While Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg are the nostalgic picks, Lamar is the most modern performer in this group, and he could get the nod to lead things off.

Another interesting prop bet is whether or not the late Tupac Shakur will appear via hologram. Tupac had a part in California Love, and everyone is fairly sure that this song will be a part of the show. Tupac is also a hip-hop icon, and he will more than likely make some sort of appearance during the show.

There are numerous other props that you can bet on for the halftime show. So if you’re not really interested in the game, and you’d still like to place some wagers, take a look at the halftime show, and you’ll be able to place numerous wagers. It should be a great show to watch!3
