Do the Cleveland Browns stand a chance of staying with the explosive San Diego Chargers? Will Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans dispatch Blake Bortles and the beleaguered Jacksonville Jaguars to keep their division title and playoff hopes alive? Will new starting quarterback Tom Savage lead the Houston Texans to the big home win against Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals to similarly keep their postseason dreams afloat? With the 2016 NFL regular season nearly complete, it’s time to cash in a few more times on some value-packed Week 16 NFL lock picks! Now, let’s find out the answers to the aforementioned questions and much more.

Analyzing The Week 16 NFL Lock Picks In The Spotlight

San Diego -6 at Cleveland

Saturday, December 24 at 1:00 PM ET

Analysis: Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers have lost three straight and four of their last five games, but there’s a reason why a whopping 73 percent of the betting public likes San Diego to get the win and ATS cover and it’s because the Chargers can score the ball with the best teams in the league and Cleveland is completely inept on both sides of the ball. With San Diego going 10-3 AS in their last 13 road games, I say the Bolts are a lock to cover as 6-point road favorites. Pick: San Diego Chargers -6 Points

Tennessee -4.5 at Jacksonville

Saturday, December 24 at 1:00 PM ET

Analysis: Mariota and the Titans have won three straight and four of their last five games while Bortles and the Jags have lost their last five games while failing to reach the 20-point plateau three times and never scoring more than 21 points in all five losses. More importantly, Mariota is now looking and playing like an elite quarterback while Jacksonville looks like they’ll need another quarterback because of Blake Bortles’ failure to improve since being drafted a couple of seasons ago. There’s a reason why a convincing 76 percent of betting enthusiasts like Tennessee and it’s because the Titans are the superior team and have a ton of motivation as they seek their first playoff appearance of the Mariota era. Pick: Tennessee -4.5 Points

Arizona at Seattle-9

Saturday, December 24 at 4:25 PM ET

Analysis: Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals (5-8-1) have lost two straight and four of their last five games overall, but I’m still surprised that 59 percent of the betting public likes Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks (9-4-1) to get the win and ATS cover as a double digit home favorite. Seattle has alternated SU wins and losses over their last five games while being limited to 26 points or less in four of those contests. Arizona put 41 points on the board this past weekend and I believe the veteran-led Cards will find a way to keep the final score closer to a touchdown than double digits. Pick: Arizona +9 Points

Cincinnati at Houston -2.5

Saturday, December 24 at 8:25 PM ET

Analysis: The Houston Texans (8-6) finally benched pitiful starter Brock Osweiler and got immediate results as backup Tom Savage tossed four TD passes last week to help the Texans get a big win. Now, with the Texans playing at home and desperate to reach the playoffs, I think they’ll find  way to dispatch Andy Dalton and an underachieving Bengals (5-8-1) tem whose only wins over the last five weeks have come against lowly Cleveland and rebuilding Philadelphia. The Texans are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games against the Bengals, making them a virtual lock for me to win and narrowly cover the spread. Pick: Houston -2.5 Points
