NFL Week 2 Must Bet Games – 2018 Season

One of the great moments of the year comes when the NFL released the schedule for the upcoming season. It gives us all a few months to plan ahead and decide which games will see out betting money every Sunday. The games that we have circled on the calendar could very well change as the season progresses, as we are sure to see some favorites to win it all fall at the same time dark horses rise. For now, though, we are going to focus on the games that immediately jump off the page before the season begins. Today, we are going to look at NFL Week 2 and some of the great looking games that appear on the schedule.

NFL Week 2 Must Bet Games – 2018 Season

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

The Texans looked as though they might have been a force in the West last season until rookie QB DeShaun Watson went down with a season-ending injury. He will be back and looking to elevate his team, with the Tennessee Titans being one of the teams they are likely going to need to contend with in this division. The Titans made a bit of a breakthrough last season, making the playoffs and beating the Chiefs in the Wild Card Game. The will be looking to go at least one better this year, so this should definitely be a game to watch.

Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

This is going to be a season of change for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they have parted ways with long-time QB Alex Smith in favor of the unproven Patrick Mahomes. By all accounts, the new young QB has some real upside, but you have to wonder how quickly he will settle into the starting role. He won’t need to wait very long for his first real test, as Week 2 sees the Chiefs head into Pittsburgh to face a Steelers team that has had their number over the past few seasons. If the Chiefs are to contend in the AFC, these are the types of games that they are going to need to win.

New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars

This is a game that the Jaguars probably had circled from the moment the 2018 NFL schedule was released. These two teams met in the AFC Championship Game last season, and it looked as though the Jags were about to dethrone the Patriots until Tom Brady did his thing with a heartbreaking play late in the game. The Patriots will face the Jaguars in NFL Week 3 of the 2018 Season. That killer blow must have left the Jaguars with a lot of sleepless nights over the last few months, and you can bet that they won’t need much extra motivation to come out big in this one. This is a game that may well be considered the best game on the calendar in Week 2.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

The AFC West looks as though it may be a division that is tough to call this season, especially when you consider that each team has made some big changes. Jon Gruden will be out of the booth and back on the sideline as coach of the Raiders, and he will be looking to make a big impact early on. A win in Mile High would almost certainly fit the bill. The Broncos will have new QB Case Keenum under center. Will he be able to shake off the back-up shackles and deliver the goods like he did with the Minnesota Vikings last season? Lots of questions to be answered in this game.
