NFL Week 4 Winners Odds Analysis

Between now and the end of the NFL offseason, we are bound to have a couple of injuries, suspensions and roster shuffles that could see a number of changes in the 2016 NFL betting lines. But based on how things stand currently, here are the teams that look to be sure winners against the spread.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots (-7)

Week 4 NFL ATS Pick: Bills (+7) With just three losses at home over the past three seasons, it goes without saying New England is the most dominant home team in the league over the last couple of years. Beating the Buffalo Bills at home should therefore not be a big deal here, at least on paper. As a concern, though, Tom Brady is likely to miss this game because of his league-sanctioned four-game suspended, so Tyrod Taylor and Buffalo could be due for an ATS upset in this game.

Denver Broncos (-2.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 4 NFL ATS Pick: Broncos (-2.5) There have been 8 meetings in the All-time history of these two teams, with Denver owning a 6-2 edge in the series, including a 3-0 winning streak in their last three meetings. Even so, 2016 could result in a different outcome if the offseason improvements made by Tampa Bay on both sides of the ball pan out successfully. But then again, the Bucs have often struggled against strong defensive teams, and Denver’s D is guaranteed to continue being among the best in the league in 2016; something that is likely to favor the Broncos in this game. As long as Denver’s offense is able to get some production from Mark Sanchez and Company, the win and cover of the spread should thus be in the offing for the Broncos.

New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings (-6)

Week 4 NFL ATS Pick: Vikings (-6) Dating back to 2010, the Giants and Vikings are 2-2 in their four meetings. The Vikings have, however, been the more dominant team when playing in Minnesota, winning 3 of their last 4 games at home, including the 49-17 victory over the Giants in their last meeting in 2015 at the TCF Bank stadium. And going by Minnesota’s impressive run in 2015—sporting a division-leading 11-5 SU record and an NFL-best 13-3 ATS mark—the Giants will be hard-done in their quest to stop the Vikings in this MNF fixture.
