NFL 2021 Season Week 6 O/U Betting Picks & Predictions

NFL 2021 Season Week 6 O/U Betting Picks & Predictions

It is tough to make Super Bowl predictions after just 5 weeks of the regular season, but it does appear that we could potentially have some dark horse teams rising up and making a playoff run. Then again, that could all change in the next few weeks, as the stronger teams that are currently struggling a bit find their feet. Right now, you have to say that the Buffalo Bills look very much like the team to beat, while Tom Brady still looks to be ageless in Tampa. In terms of dark horse teams, the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals are in the mix, as are the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Chargers. Again, we might well be talking about different teams a month from now, but that is where we currently stand. For now, let’s take a look at our NFL O/U picks for Week 6 of the 2021 regular season so you can bet against the NFL odds.

Week 6 O/U Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles (52 ½)

We all keep waiting for that moment when Tom Brady finally runs out of gas, but it still looks like it’s a long way from happening. He is coming off a Week 5 game that saw him toss 5 TD passes as the Buccaneers continue to hum along rather nicely. Philadelphia finally snapped a 3-game losing skid with a win over Carolina this past weekend, but you certainly feel as though they are about to add another digit to the loss column on Thursday night. In terms of the point total, Tampa has seen the OVER hit in 4 of their last 5, as well as in 6 of their last 7 against conference foes. In their last 6 home meetings with Tampa, Philly has seen the OVER hit 4 times.

LA Chargers at Baltimore Ravens (O51 ½)

This might well be the matchup of the week, as these are a pair of teams that have been fun to watch over the first 5 weeks of the season. The Chargers are thriving under the leadership of Justin Herbert at QB, while the Ravens are adopting a cardiac kids approach to football, coming from behind to snatch wins on a regular basis. In short, we have a pair of explosive offensive set to square off this weekend, and while that often ends up in a low-scoring affair, I think we are looking at the OVER with this one. Oddly enough, it is the under that has been trending for both teams, but that being said, the OVER has hit in 14 of the last 20 games in which the Ravens have played a team from the AFC West.

Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers (U46)

It is perhaps a little too early in the season to be talking about must win games, but when you see how things are shaping up, you do have to say that both of these teams could use a win. It already looks as though the NFC North title is heading to Green Bay even after just 5 games, especially with the Vikings sitting at 2-3 on the season. The Panthers do have a winning record, but they are trying to keep pace with a Tampa Bay team that seems to be firing on all cylinders. Neither of these offenses have been lighting things up, so I think we are looking at a tight, defensive battle with this one.
