NFL Week 7 Over/Under Betting Trends for the Weekend

NFL Week 7 Over/Under Betting Trends for the Weekend

Another big weekend of NFL action is coming our way as we prepare for Week 7 of the season. While we have seen a ton of parity this year, we are now starting to see a few teams emerge as legit Super Bowl Candidates. On the while, though, things have been very difficult to predict, especially with so many teams hovering around the .500 mark. There is still a ton of football to be played this season and we will almost certainly see some teams separate from the pack in the coming weeks. For now, though, we are all about Week 7, and specifically some O/U picks for the week. So far this season, we are sitting at 29-18 overall with all of our picks, which includes being 9-6 in our point total selections. Let’s see if we can improve on that mark in Week 7 of the NFL season so you can continue betting against the NFL Lines.

Some O/U Picks for This Week’s NFL Games | Week 7 Betting Picks

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys – UNDER 48

After a promising start to the season, the Detroit Lions have gone off the rails and have now lost 3 in a row to fall to 1-4 on the season. The Cowboys are sitting at 4-2 and managed to go 4-1 with a backup QB at the helm. Cooper Rush certainly delivered the goods, but it does look as though the Cowboys will have Dak Prescott under center for this one. There may well be a bit of rust, which could help keep the score down. There are more reasons than just that to believe that this one is set to go UNDER the point total, starting with the fact that the UNDER has hit in 13 of the last 18 games for the Cowboys. They have also seen their last 5 home games fall UNDER the point total.

New York Jets at Denver Broncos – UNDER 42 ½

Things have gone a little more differently than expected for both of these teams this season. The Jets have struggled for so long that we expected more of the same, but they are coming into Week 7 with a 4-2 record. There was also an expectation that the Broncos would move to the next level after picking up Russell Wilson from the Seahawks, but the offense has struggled, and Denver is now sitting at 2-4 overall. Given their offensive struggles, it is not surprising that the Broncos have seen 5 of their last 6 games fall UNDER the point total. As fir the Jets, they have seen 7 of their last 8 visits to Denver go UNDER.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers – UNDER 48 ½

There was a feeling that both of these teams would be major players in the postseason this year, but that is not the case for one of them. The Chiefs are at 4-2 and have, for the most part, looked very good. The 49ers have stumbled to a 3-3 record and have been forced to hand the football to Jimmy Garoppolo after seeing Trey Lance go out for the season with an injury. While the Chiefs trend more toward the OVER, the 49ers are all about the UNDER, including seeing 8 of their last 10 games as an underdog go that route. They have also seen their last 5 games against teams from the AFC go UNDER the point total.
