Week 6 Rundown Top NHL Betting Matchups of the Week

Week 6 Rundown: Top NHL Betting Matchups of the Week

Written by on November 14, 2022

The NHL Season is settling in and entering week six. There are multiple games to bet on or watch every night except for Friday, which features only one game.

Let’s explore the upcoming week in the NHL and review the best betting matchups and games of the night from Monday, November 14th, to Sunday, November 20th.

NHL Week 6

Monday, November 14th

There are four games on the NHL schedule on Monday night. We’re taking the Carolina Hurricanes to win against the Chicago Blackhawks. We also like the Colorado Avalanche to win at home against the St. Louis Blues. Our game of the night is a Pacific division matchup between the Calgary Flames and the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

Tuesday, November 15th

We have nine games to choose from on Tuesday, and Dallas Stars vs. Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto vs. Pittsburgh, and Washington vs. Florida are the games of the night to catch, alongside a potentially fun New Jersey vs. Montreal matchup.

As for our betting picks, we like the Vegas Golden Knights to defeat the San Jose Sharks and the Buffalo Sabres to defeat the Vancouver Canucks. Minnesota vs. Nashville and Philadelphia vs. Columbus are two potential betting targets as well, depending on the odds at that time.

Wednesday, November 16th

There are only three games on the NHL schedule on Wednesday night. We’re taking the over in the Los Angeles Kings vs. Edmonton Oilers and taking the St. Louis Blues to win against the Chicago Blackhawks

However, alongside Los Angeles versus Edmonton, Wednesday’s game of the night is a fun matchup between Buffalo and Ottawa. If anything, we’d be looking at a one-goal game and puck line spread favorite to cover the spread in Ottawa.

Thursday, November 17th

Thirteen games fill a busy NHL schedule on Thursday, November 17th. Philadelphia vs. Boston, Colorado vs. Carolina, New Jersey vs. Toronto, and the New York Rangers vs. Seattle Kraken will compete for our attention.

Dallas to win against Florida, Montreal to defeat Columbus, Vegas to defeat Arizona, the Islanders to defeat the Predators, and Winnipeg getting the win over Anaheim are competing for our betting picks. If you like over/under wagers, Calgary versus Tampa Bay is a prime target to take the under.

With twenty-six teams in action on Thursday night, you’ll find a few options to watch and bet on. You might want to move some of your NHL betting bankrolls from Friday to Thursday to take advantage of the busy schedule.

Friday, November 18th

There is only one game on Friday’s NHL schedule. We’re taking the Los Angeles Kings to defeat the Vancouver Canucks. Friday night’s real question is will the Cancucks cover the spread?

Saturday, November 19th

While we only have one game to bet on or watch Friday night, Saturday’s NHL schedule has fifteen games competing for your attention and space on your betting ticket.

We’ll take the Boston Bruins to win against the Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina to defeat Minnesota, St. Louis over Anaheim, the Rangers over the Sharks, and Buffalo to get the likely betting upset in Toronto are a few of many betting picks we could make.

The Islanders vs. Stars, the Avalanche vs. Capitals, Vegas vs. Edmonton, Calgary vs. Florida, and Pittsburgh vs. Winnipeg are all competing for our attention. Still, they are all games we’re unlikely to make a wager.

This is a day on the schedule with many betting options available, so take the time and review Saturday’s busy schedule to find the games you want to bet on based on odds and current performances.

Sunday, November 20th

Week six of the NHL season concludes with two games on Sunday. We’d take the Pittsburgh Penguins to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks and cover the spread only if the Penguins’ goaltenders are playing well.

We haven’t liked the Florida Panthers’ start to the season and think a potential upset could be on the books when the Panthers face the Columbus Blue Jackets.
