Italy Serie A News & Rumors: Will Ronaldo ditch Juventus?

2021 – 2022 Italian Serie A Season

Top Serie A Rumors

Ronaldo will leave Juventus

A day after Robert Lewandowski became the highest-scoring player in a single Bundesliga Season, Ronaldo became the first player to be the top goal scorer in a single season in LaLiga, the Premier League, and Serie A.

Ronaldo scored his 29th goal of the season. But although Ronaldo got an individual accolade, Juventus finished behind Inter Milan in Serie A.

Rumors have swirled before Juventus’ final game that Ronaldo was looking to head back to Real Madrid or Manchester United. Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar fanned the flames when stating the player he wishes to play with most, now that he got a chance to step onto the pitch with Messi, is Ronaldo.

Will Ronaldo leave Juventus? He might. Juvy had won 9 straight titles before this season. As great as Ronaldo is, he hasn’t helped Juventus in Serie A or get over the Champions League hump. Maybe, Juventus and Ronaldo isn’t a good mix.

Harry Kane may head to a Serie A squad

Harry Kane said he wants to win trophies. Playing for Tottenham hasn’t led to winning hardware, which is why Kane may be on the move.

Although the English striker didn’t express which team he wanted to play for, AC Milan or Juventus if Ronaldo leaves could be at the top of the list. Heck, if Kane heads to Juvy, Ronaldo might stay. AC needs plenty of help. So expect Milan to go hard after Kane.

Is Roma pursuing Torino striker Belotti?

AS Roma may be trying to convince Andrea Belotti to turn his back on Tornio and head to Rome.

Supposedly, the top brass at ASR, including coach Mourinho, wanted Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic. The young striker’s price, though, is well out of Roma’s range.

Whispers regarding a couple of other players, Moises Kean and Mauro Icardi, have happened for weeks. But the loudest whispers are in regards to Vlahovic. Don’t be surprised if the Torino striker ends up in an AS Roma kit.

AC Milan hopes to add Udinese captain Rodrigo de Paul and possibly Olivier Giroud

In addition to possibly going after Harry Kane, AC Milan may make play for a couple of other players. One is on a Serie Ay team. The other plays for Champions League finalist Chelsea.

Current Udinese captain Rodrigo de Paul may pick up his cleats and head to Milan. AC hopes to attract Paul away from his current team.

The bigger prize could end up the Blues’ Olivier Giroud. Giroud is a strong player, but there’s no room for him on Chelsea.

Giroud requires a forward position. Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea’s manager, has had great success with Christian Pulisic up front.

AC Milan may be hoping to land both Giroud and Kane. If AC wants to do that, they had better hurry. Giroud’s agents said four Premier teams contacted him regarding Giroud.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled on what AC Milan, Juventus, and other Serie A squads do as we head towards the transfer window.
