France and Italy are also in action. Check out FIFA World Cup Qualifiers odds, analysis, and free picks for 10 of this week’s best FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

World Cup Qualifying Matches to Bet On From Sep. 2nd to Sep. 5th

Spain -142 vs Sweden +380

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 2

Both teams last played at the UEFA European Championship. Sweden fell by a goal, 1-2, to the Ukraine. Spain drew with eventual Euro 2020 winner Italy and then lost on penalty kicks. The Spanish have the upper hand in this. Sweden is a solid squad, though, and this takes place on their pitch. The draw looks promising.

Soccer Pick: Draw

Romania +170 vs Iceland +165

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 2

These teams are similar in terms of talent. The difference? Iceland plays on their field. Not only that, but the small nation has a decent soccer program and produces talented teams even though they don’t have a big population. Iceland can win in regulation.

Soccer Pick: Iceland

Jamaica +1 ½ (+130) vs Mexico -1 ½ (-175)

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 2

It’s time for Mexico to tighten the screws. The Mexicans have a real shot of making a splash at next year’s World Cup. To do so, they must get everyone on the same page. Beating a decent squad like Jamaica by 1 ½ goals is asking a lot, though. Jamaica is the play.

Soccer Pick: Jamaica

USA -178 vs El Salvador +420

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 2

At -178, the United States might be an overlay. The U.S. is a solid squad. They’ve beaten Mexico in the last couple of head-to-head matches, the Nations League Final and the Gold Cup Final. The United States beat Mexico even though some of their best players were preparing with their club teams. The Americans should have no trouble scoring a victory over El Salvador.

Soccer Pick: USA

Uruguay +150 vs Peru +205

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 2

Both Uruguay and Peru played well at the Copa America. Peru is the home team, which gives them a slight edge. Uruguay ranks in the Top 10, though. But even though we can make a case for both teams, these two know each other extremely well, which is why the draw attracts.

Soccer Pick: Draw

Croatia +101 vs Slovakia +265

  • When: Saturday, Sep. 4

Both Croatia and Slovakia have lost their last couple of matches. On paper, though, Croatia looks like the much better team. But Slovakia gets Croatia on their pitch. This might be a good time to go against Luka Modric and his mates.

Soccer Pick: Slovakia

Norway -1 ½ (+102) vs Latvia +1 ½ (-135)

  • When: Saturday, Sep. 4

Erling Haaland should play, which means Norway blasts Latvia. The Norwegians are a decent team even without Haaland. If the odds made Norway an underlay, we’d go with Latvia. At +102, we’ll take a shot that Norway covers.

Soccer Pick: Norway

France -156 vs Ukraine +400

  • When: Saturday, Sep. 4

France headed into Euro 2020 the favorite. They left the tournament disappointing losers. The French must step it up big time in this. These two drew 1-1 on March 24. Don’t expect another draw. France has no choice but to show they can dominate when required. Give the French the nod.

Soccer Pick: France

Italy -½ (+100) vs Switzerland +½ (-131)

  • When: Sunday, Sep. 5

Switzerland is an under the radar squad with a ton of talent. Italy won Euro 2020 behind one of the most solid teams on the planet. The Italians might be the best team in the world. If the odds were reversed, with Switzerland at +½ and +100, we’d go with the home squad. But the odds are on the plus side for the Euro title holders. We’re backing Italy.

Soccer Pick: Italy

Argentina +320 vs Brazil -117

  • When: Sunday, Sep. 5

Argentina beat Brazil to take the Copa. Brazil, though, shows up as the favorite in the rematch. Both teams, like always, are loaded.  Brazil should win this. So even though the odds on Argentina make them a slight overlay, Brazil gets the nod to exact their revenge.

Soccer Pick: Brazil
