MyBookie brings you a free tennis betting preview and predictions for the 2022 ATP Dallas Open, slated for February 7-13 at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, United States.
The 2022 Dallas Open will mark the second edition of the indoor hard court tournament, which is a part of the ATP 250 series on the 2022 ATP Tour, and the first Dallas Open since 1983, when Andrés Gómez defeated Brian David Teacher in the finals with 6-7, 6-1, 6-1.
So while the last edition of the Dallas Open can’t serve as a form guide for this tournament, there are a few tennis players that caught out attention and you should look out for.
So let’s get into our betting preview for the event, where we provide you with all the information you’ll need to place bets on the ATP Betting Odds.

Players To Watch
- Taylor Fritz
Taylor Fritz enters the 2022 Dallas Open as the tournament’s top-seeded player and the current world no.20. But not only is Fritz a top-seeded player, but he has also shown enough so far this season to be considered as one of the favorites to hoist the trophy in Dallas.
He kicked off the 2022 season with a solid performance at the ATP Cup, where he beat Auger-Aliassime (6-7, 6-4, 6-4) and Norrie (7-6, 3-6, 6-1) and put on a show against Zverev (4-6, 4-6).
After a solid performance at the ATP Cup, Fritz reached R4 of the 2022 Australian Open, with wins against Marterer (7-6, 6-3, 6-2), Tiafoe (6-4, 6-4. 7-6), and Bautista Agut (6-0, 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Even though he couldn’t make it past Tsitsipas (6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6), Fritz has proven that he can compete with some of the world’s best players and looks ready for a breakthrough season.
- Reilly Opelka
The current world no.24 has achieved less than his compatriot this season, but Reilly Opelka has had his moments in Australia. He made it to R3 of the 2022 Australian Open with wins against Anderson (6-3, 6-4, 7-6), Koepfer (6-4, 6-3. 7-6), and only lost against Shapovalov (6-7, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6) in a very close match.
One thing that could concern you is that Opelka has lost his last three meetings with his former doubles partner, so Opelka will likely draw the short end of the stick if the two meet. But with the improvement he has shown of late, there’s a good chance we might see Opelka produce a deep run in Dallas.
- John Isner
The former eighth-best player in the world and the current world no.24, John Isner, will want to make a splash in Dallas and bounce back from his somewhat unconvincing start to the season. The 36-year-old has played five games so far in 2022 and won only one – against world no.239 Brayden Schnur.
In the remaining four, Isner lost against Struff, Evans, Kokkinakis, and Cressy, who eliminated him from the first round of the 2022 Australian Open with 7-6, 7-5, 6-7, 6-7, 6-4. Admittedly, a few poor showings don’t mean much, but it’s fair to feel concerned about Isner and his chances to make a splash in Dallas.
Although a highly experienced player, Isner hasn’t produced anything of note since his semi-finals appearance in Wimbledon back in 2018. Furthermore, his record across the last 15 outings show only three wins, and Isner hasn’t been impressive with his performances since August 2021, when he made semis in Toronto.
He might bounce back, but we have not seen enough from him to expect Isner to be a threat for the ATP Dallas 2022 title this week.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
