The Nitto ATP Finals started on Sunday, November 13, and concludes on November 20. The top eight ranked players from the year earn entry into the exclusive event, which is played at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy. Last year’s champion, Alexander Zverev, is absent from the field.
The eight players are split into two groups: Green and Red. The Green Group includes Felix Auger-Aliassime, Rafael Nadal, Taylor Fritz, and Casper Ruud. Novak Djokovic headlines the Red Group, which also includes Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Andrey Rublev.
Players in each group play each other once, with the top two players from each group advancing to the semi-finals. Let’s take a closer look at the groups and a prediction so you can bet against their ATP Odds.

Green Group Predictions
Felix Auger-Aliassime opened as the betting favorite to win the Green Group, but lost his first match on Sunday to Casper Ruud. Nadal and Taylor Fritz met in the other match.
Despite his loss in the first match, Auger-Aliassime is still in a good spot to advance to the semi-finals. He has been one of the most dominant players on tour as of late, winning three of his last four tournaments. While the Nitto ATP Finals brings together the top eight players in the world, it’s typically the players who are playing the best at the time who have the best chance to win.
Auger-Aliassime may have a tough time winning the group, but still could finish second. Nadal is a good bet to advance as well. He’s fared well in his career against both Fritz and Ruud, beating the latter in the final of the French Open earlier this year.
Red Group Predictions
The Red Group schedule begins Monday with Medvedev vs. Rublev and Tsitsipas vs. Djokovic. Djokovic, as the betting favorite to win the entire tournament, is obviously the favorite to win the Red Group. He should advance as he has plenty to prove. The former world No. 1 missed two Grand Slams this year due to his COVID-19 vaccination status and will be looking to end the year on a high note.
Medvedev should advance alongside Djokovic. The Russian is 7-3 against Tsitsipas and 4-1 against Rublev in his career. He is, however, coming off of a first-round loss to Alex de Minaur at the Paris 1000 Masters event. He won the Vienna Open before that.
Winner Prediction: Djokovic +125
Despite his dominance in the sport over the last decade or so, Djokovic hasn’t won the Nitto ATP Finals since 2015, when he defeated Roger Federer in the finals for the second consecutive year. He lost in the final in 2016.
Djokovic has the clearest path to the final this year, as he has a psychological edge over each of his opponents. He reached the final in each of his last three tournaments and won two of them.
