With the 2020 tennis season heating up as we move closer to March and the pair of big-time Masters events at Indian Wells and Miami, now is a great time to find out which top ATP players are in action this coming week and which ones are offering the best Tennis Odds in their respective matches for your Tennis Betting. With the 2020 Dubai Duty Free Championships getting underway on Sunday, February 23, let’s find out which stars are looking good in their quest for success with reigning champ Roger Federer sidelined until the grass court season.

2020 Dubai Duty Free Championships

Daniel Evans vs No. 4 Fabio Fognini

  • 2/25/2020 at 7:00 AM ET

29-year-old Englishman and world No. 37 Daniel Evans is 8-4 on the year while 32-year-old Italian Fabio Fognini is an uninspiring 4-5 on the year. Evans comes into this match off a run to the quarterfinals at the ABN Amro in Rotterdam in which he dispatched veterans Phillip Kohlschreiber and young star Karen Kachanov before falling to the explosive Gael Monfils in straight sets. For his part, Fognini was embarrassed in his opener against Kachanov 6-3, 6-3. While these two veterans have never met before, I’m expecting Fabio Fognini to bounce back from his slow start to get the big win here in three sets, mostly out of sheer desperation. Evans is the more cerebral player of the two, but tennis fans and betting enthusiasts know that the unpredictable Fabio Fognini is capable of upsetting anyone on the face of the planet on any given day. I like Fognini in a match that goes the distance.

Pick: Fabio Fognini in Three Sets

No. 2 Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Pablo Carreno Busta

  • 2/25/2020 at 10:00 AM ET

21-year-old World No. 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas is 7-4 on the year and comes into this event fresh off a thrilling 6-3, 6-4 win over Felix Auger-Aliassime in the finals of the Open 13 in Marseilles on Sunday. 28-year-old Spaniard and world No. 28 Pablo Carreno Busta is 6-4 on the year and he made a nice run to the semis at Marseilles before falling to FA2 in straight sets.

These two have met once before with Tsitsipas taking care of business en route to a 7-5, 6-3 win in Barcelona in 2018. While Pablo Carreno Busta is a player that plays to the maximum of his ability far more often than not, Stefanos Tsitsipas is by far, the more talented player in this affair with far bigger and more dangerous weapons. With the young Greek star felling quite confident after winning his second straight title in Marseilles, I’m going with the world No. 6 to get it done in this one in straight sets.

Pick: Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-5, 6-4

No. 5 Roberto Bautista Agut vs. Jan Lenard Struff

  • 2/25/2020 at 10:20 AM ET

31-year-old  Spaniard and world No. 12 Roberto Bautista Agut is a robust 9-2 on the year while 29-year-old world No. 34 Jan-Lenard Struff is an uninspiring 3-4 on the year. Bautista Agut comes into this event fresh off a heartbreaking three-set loss against Pablo Carreno Busta at the ABN Amro in Rotterdam while Struff was bounced out in the first round by young phenom Felix Auger-Aliassime, just one event after getting dispatched in the first round by World No. 1 Novak Djokovic. In three career meetings, Bautista Agut has compiled a perfect 3-0 mark that includes a trio of straight set wins, most recently at Halle, German in 2018. I wouldn’t do a whole lot of overthinking for this pairing as the veteran Roberto Bautista Agut will once again, problem solve his way to the convincing win.

Pick: Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 7-6 (4)
