NCAAB 2021 Week 3 Matches To Must Watch and Bet On

Written by on November 29, 2021

All of those early season tournaments that we see in college basketball are now over, which means that we move away from neutral site games and into the home and away schedule that we are all used to. It also means that the easier games for the top teams are coming to an end, with conference play now very much on the horizon. That said, many of the ranked teams are still looking at a softer schedule for a little bit, which could mean that, barring a major upset, we might not see a lot of movement in the current rankings. With all of that in mind, let’s look ahead at this week’s schedule to find some games that stand out so you can place your bets against the College Basketball odds.

College Basketball Betting – Week 3 odds: Top Games to Wager On

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Illinois Fighting Illini – Monday

Illinois ended last week as the #14 team in the nation, winning back-to-back games to close things out and end the week at 4-2 on the season. They will host Notre Dame on Monday night in what promises to be an entertaining matchup. Notre Dame are at 3-2 this season and going on the road to face an Illinois team that is a perfect 3-0 at home this season. Not an easy out for the Illini, but one you would expect them to win.

Florida State Seminoles at Purdue Boilermakers – Tuesday

This looks to be one of the better matchups this week, with Florida State hitting the road with a 5-1 record and a 4-game winning streak under their belts. The Seminoles lost their lone road games this season, while #3 ranked Purdue, who are 6-0 on the season, have been perfect in their own building. Purdue are tough at home, but this will not be an easy out for them.

Memphis Tigers at Georgia Bulldogs – Wednesday

Last week did not end well for Memphis, as they were blown out by Iowa State for their first loss of the season. They will be looking to bounce back this week and have a very winnable game versus 2-5 Georgia in the middle of the week. It should be noted, though, that both of the Bulldogs wins this season have come on home court. I’d still expect Memphis to come away with the win, but this is another potential banana skin.

Washington Huskies at Arizona Wildcats – Thursday

As we edge towards the weekend, we get a great looking game on the schedule. It’s not often we get a ton of conference games in the early part of the season, but this PAC 12 matchup is one to look forward to. Washington is 4-4 on the season and ended out last week with back-to-back defeats. Arizona is a perfect 6-0 and looking to move up the rankings with a conference win under their belts.

Kansas Jayhawks at St. John’s Red Storm – Friday

The mark of a good team is their ability to bounce back after a tough loss. That is what Kansas will be looking to do this week after losing 74-73 to Daytona last week in what is arguably the shock result of the season to this point. They will have a tricky road trip to face St. Johns on Friday, with the Red Storm winning all 5 of their home games this season.
