For some, Week 14 of the college football season represents the final regular season game, while for others it’s the chance to walk away as a conference champion, and perhaps seal a playoff spot in the process. All the conference championship games will go this weekend, as well as a handful of games in the Big-12, which closes out its season this Saturday. The betting odds and lines are up for the weekend, which means it’s time to have a look ahead to see if we can find some winners. Kansas State Wildcats (+4.5) at TCU Horned Frogs

The Kansas State Wildcats are starting to round into form as the season comes to an end, and they will be looking to head into their bowl game on a 3-game winning streak. For that to happen, they need to head into Texas to face a TCU team that has disappointed this season. These teams are about as evenly matched as it gets, but one thing that stands out is how poorly TCU have played at home this year. They are 2-4 SU on home field, not to mention 0-6 ATS. I don’t just think the Wildcats cover here, I believe they win outright.

Oklahoma State Cowboys (+12) at Oklahoma Sooners

What we have here is essentially the game that decides who lands atop the Big 12 Conference. Both teams are coming in on hot winning streaks, and both have the ability to rack up the points. The telling stat for me here is that the Cowboys are 3-1 ATS when playing as the underdog. They certainly are good enough hang with the Sooners until the end, and I think this one is going to be closer than the posted line.

Virginia Tech Hokies Vs Clemson Tigers (-10)

The ACC Championship Game has become a familiar spot for Clemson, but not so much for the Hokies who have not been there since 2011. Clemson Tigers have struggled in a few games this season, and it caught up to them when they fell to Pitt a few weeks back. They have looked totally focused since then, though, and they seem to be a team on a mission now. I like the, to win this one, and to cover in the process.

Florida Gators (+24) vs Alabama Crimson Tide

When you are the defending college football champion and you have reached this stage of the season without taking a loss, you can definitely understand the big line going in your favor in a conference title game. The Crimson Tide ae good, make no mistake about it, but they are going against a defense that has shut down or limited a lot of good teams this season. The Gators can’t hang with Alabama if this thing gets into a shootout, but if the defense holds, they can certainly cover the spread.
