Daily Updated 2017 MLB Under Picks & Favorites (June 26th)

The end of the first half of the major league baseball season is fast approaching, and we are now in a position of being more accurately able to figure out how teams are going to fare against one another as well as their current MLB under picks. Consequently, we now essentially now which teams are good, which are bad, and which are likely to score while others fall flat. As always, we are going have a ton of games previewed this week, as well as picks and predictions that we hope will help you build you bankroll before the All-Star Break rolls around. Consequently, this is going to start off by looking at we believe are the potential best MLB UNDER plays for this week, and we will also have another article that focuses on the OVER. Without further ado, let’s get to the selections.

Analyzing The Daily Updated 2017 MLB Under Picks & Favorites (June 26th)

   

Monday – Philadelphia Phillies at Arizona Diamondbacks

These two will be playing the final match-up in a 4-game series that is currently seeing two of the games go under the 9-run total that is in place for today. Zack Grienke, who is having a stellar 3.14 ERA so far this season, will be on the mound for this matinee game, which means that Philly are unlikely to get much joy at the plate. There is always the possibility that the D-Backs might run up the score here, but I still think that this one will fall below the 9-run mark.

Tuesday – Chicago Cubs at Washington Nationals

We have a great pitching match-up ready to go for this one, with Jake Arrieta (7-5, 4.36 ERA) set to go against Max Scherzer (8-5, 2.09 ERA), who just happens to be in possession of the best ERA in all of baseball right now. Moreover, 5 of the last 6 games that Scherzer started has seen the run total come in at 6 or less, and while Arrieta’s games tend to be on the higher scoring end of things, I think we get a wash and a definite MLB UNDER.

Wednesday – Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants

The Rockies are going through what may be their worst run of form this season, but they start the week with a series in San Francisco that they should win. This entire series looks like a good MLB UNDER bet, as the Rockies are just 16-22-3 O/U on the road, while the Giants are 13-21-1 O/U in their own ball park. This is definitely a series that might prove to be a good one to wager on.

Thursday – Oakland A’s at Houston Astros

Houston are lighting up their division and scoring for fun, while the Oakland A’s can’t seem to keep their opponents off the board. It is for that reason that I think the O/U on this one might be set just a little too high. Jharel Cotton will be pitching for the A’s, and he is brilliant in every game as well as his last two starts, winning them both and only giving up 3 earned runs. Brad Peacock is currently at the schedule to start for the Astros, and his last turn on the mound against these very A’s, where he gave up just 1 earned run in a 4-1 win. Go low here.

Friday – Cleveland Indians at Detroit Tigers

The Cleveland Indians are one of those teams who have been much better on the road this season than they have been at home, but they tend to keep things tight and low scoring when they travel. Heading into this week, the Indians are 11-24-4 O/U on the road, and they are facing a Detroit Tigers team that trend more towards the MLB UNDER at home. Detroit are 16-17-1 O/U in their own ball park this season. Josh Tomlin will be on the mound for the Indians, and 3 of his last 4 games on the road are ending with the run total being 6 or less. Best of luck with the selections, and please keep an eye open for the OVER picks for the week that we will be posting today.
