2024 MLB Season

Week 19 of the Major League Baseball season.

We are entering the final 6-8 weeks of the season.

This should be a pretty fun week of action, as the teams continue to fight for postseason positioning.

Here are the top pitchers to follow for Week 19 of the Major League Baseball season:

Writer’s Pitchers Picks for MLB Week 19

Sonny Gray, St. Louis Cardinals

That starts with their right-hander on the mound Monday.

Sonny Gray and the Cardinals are in Cincinnati on Monday.

Later in the week, the Cardinals get the Dodgers.

This is a massive stretch for St. Louis to determine if this team is going to be in the running when the end comes.

Big week for Gray.

Keep an eye on how he performs this week.

Shota Imanaga, Chicago Cubs

Imanaga is the Cubs ace.

His first game this week is on the road at a tough Cleveland team.

This is a make-or-break stretch for the Cubs as well.

Imanaga has got to get them off to a good start.

Look for a big week from Imanaga as he gets a pair of starts against American League teams.

Chris Sale, Atlanta Braves

Another National League team that needs to get themselves going.

The Atlanta Braves have really struggled, and much of that has to do with their inability to stay healthy.

Several of the Braves top guys are out.

But, that means Chris Sale has got to make sure he is getting the job done on the mound.

The lefthander has been one of the best pitchers in the National League.

His first start this week is at San Francisco, but against Blake Snell.

Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles Dodgers

We stay in the National League.

The veteran lefthander certainly has not come back from his injury in tip top shape.

Kershaw is 0-2 on the season with a 4.38 earned run average.

He has thrown just 12.1 innings, and struck out 11 this season.

In his three starts, he has allowed just a single home run, so they are not getting the most hard hits off him.

He will look for his first win of the season, but it is on the road at the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday.

Later in the week, Kershaw will finish his week at St. Louis against the Cardinals.

Brady Singer, Kansas City Royals

His first start this week is at the Minnesota Twins, another team battling in the American League Central.

After the Royals leave Minnesota, they head to Cincinnati, a team that has been pretty up or down with the bats this season.

There you have it. Those are our Top pitchers to follow for Week 19 of the Major League Baseball season.

Enjoy the game and best of luck with all your betting for this week, and through the rest of the season.
