It’s a massive weekend in the world of the Xfinity Series, as we finally get to the opening round of the playoffs.
My NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300 Analysis
As good as it is to end the regular season with a win, this will feel like a fresh start for each of the 12 drivers who are alive and still in with a shot at the Xfinity Series championship.
There are some familiar names in the playoff group, but only one driver can win it all.
^Justin Allgaier
On the downside, though, he is coming into the playoffs on a run of 3 straight races finishing outside the top 10.
Allgaier has landed in the top 10 in 2 of the last 3 runs in Kansas, so while I’m not sure about taking him to win, I think a top 5 bet might be worth the risk.
^Cole Custer +400
As we mentioned at the top of this piece, Custer ended the regular season with a win, making it clear that he is not about to give up his title without a fight.
While that was just his 2nd win of the season, let’s not forget that Custer won it all last season by picking up a total of 3 wins across the entire season, so he is very much on track when you take that into account.
Custer had a brutal run in Kansas last season, but his win last weekend suggests that we can expect better this time around.
