This will be the only meeting of the season between these two barring a matchup in the ACC or NCAA Tournament. Last year, they also played just once, a 71-65 Miami home win. Kamari Murphy had 15 points to lead UM. Bruce Brown’s 3-pointer with 1:34 remaining gave the Hurricanes a 67-61 lead. Davon Reed converted four free throws in the final 40 seconds to secure the win for Miami. Reed finished with 14 points.
