Despite watching the Arizona Cardinals win the NFC West last season, odds makers apparently aren’t expecting repeat performance out of Carson Palmer and company in 2016. Thankfully, you can benefit in big way thanks to Arizona’s manageable 2016 regular season win total odds, which, to me, make them a virtual NFL betting lines lock selection. Now, let’s find out why the Cards look like a lock selection and how the other three members of the NFC West will fare against their respective 2016 win total odds.

NFC West 2016 NFL Season Total Wins Odds Predictions
Arizona Cardinals (9.5)
Bruce Arians has turned his Arizona Cardinals into a perennial powerhouse by winning recording three straight double-digit win campaigns heading into 2016. While some people are asking if the Cardinals have already maxed out, I don’t believe that’s going to be the case at all. Here’s why Arizona looks like a lock against their 2016 win total odds. I’ve got Carson Palmer and company losing only one home game against New England to kick off their 2016 campaign. I also have the Cardinals losing road dates against Carolina, Minnesota and Seattle to finish at 12-4 or potentially 11-5. Either way, the Cardinals easily play OVER their 2016 win total odds. The Pick: Arizona 12-4/OverLos Angeles Rams (7.0)
I have no idea Los Angeles Rams (7-9) head coach Jeff Fisher keeps his job, but his teams – and his coaching – are now both synonymously both known to completely define the word ‘mediocre’. Case in point, seven of Fisher’s last 11 seasons have produced losing campaigns. I’ve got the Jeff Fisher’s team losing road games against San Francisco, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Detroit, the New York Jets, New Orleans, New England and Seattle while dropping home dates against the Seahawks, Bills, Giants, Panthers and Cardinals to finish with either three or four wins and well UNDER their 2016 win total odds. The Pick: Rams 3-13/UnderSan Francisco 49ers (5.0)
The Niners (5-11) made a huge mistake when they parted ways with head coach Jim Harbaugh and they could be making another after quickly naming former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly their guy despite his widely-publicized failures in the City of Brotherly Love. I’ve got Chip Kelly’s new team losing home games against Arizona, Dallas and Seattle and road games against Carolina, Seattle, Buffalo, Arizona, Miami and Atlanta to finish at 7-9 and Over their low 2016 win total odds figure. The Pick: San Francisco 7-9/OverSeattle Seahawks (10.5)
The Seahawks (10-6) will look to get back to being the elite team they have been for the last four seasons when they take to the gridiron in 2016 after winning ‘just’ 10 games in 2015. While Seattle lost running back Marshawn Lynch to retirement, the Seahawks still have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, which is why I think they’re a virtual lock against their 2016 win total odds. Here’s why. I’ve got Russell Wilson and company running the table at home this coming season while losing on the road at Arizona, New England and Green Bay to finish at either 13-3 or potentially 12-4. Either way, Seattle plays OVER their 2016 win total figure. The Pick: Seattle 12/4/OverMyBookie NFL
