49ers vs Jaguars Odds & Betting Analysis for Two Playoff Contenders

A massive National Football League tilt looms on this weekend as two playoff contenders gear up to face off. The San Francisco 49ers are set to square off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in what promises to be an intense matchup this Sunday. The 49ers, currently boasting a 5-3 record, are entering the game on a rather somber note, having endured a three-game losing streak. Their recent bye week provided an opportunity to regroup, and they currently find themselves tied with the Seahawks for the top spot in the NFC West.

On the other side of the field, the Jaguars are basking in the glory of a successful season, carrying a 6-2 record. They ride the wave of a five-game winning streak, which has elevated them to the top of the AFC South. Much like the 49ers, the Jaguars capitalized on their bye week to recharge. In their last match, the Jaguars beat the Steelers by a score of 20-10.

Notably, despite the 49ers’ recent struggles, they enter this away game as slight favorites, boasting a -3 point spread.

MyBookie offers the NFL lines, game analysis, and betting pick for San Francisco 49ers versus the Jacksonville Jaguars which are playing on Week 10 of the NFL season.

Can the 49ers Win this Game? | 49ers Offensive Attack

The 49ers are in dire need of a resurgence to regain their winning form. After an auspicious start, they’ve slipped to a 5-3 record due to a trio of setbacks. In each of their last three losses, San Francisco managed to muster just 17 points. Nevertheless, when examining their entire season, they stand as the league’s fourth-highest scoring team, averaging 27.3 points per game.

Quarterback Brock Purdy has tossed for over 2,000 yards on the season, but as of late has turned the ball over more than we are accustomed to seeing. The former Iowa State star now has five interceptions on the season. Purdy is completing just shy of 69% of his passes on the season.

Brandon Aiyuk has consistently shone as their primary receiver, amassing 35 receptions and two touchdowns. George Kittle has been up and down, in fact, catching all three of his touchdown passes in a single game; a win over the Cowboys. Kittle has 443 yards on the season; on 32 receptions. Deebo Samuel is questionable in this game with a shoulder injury.

Christian McCaffrey has been a standout performer, scoring a touchdown in every game this season. The running back has carried the ball 137 times for a total of 652 yards and has reached the end zone nine times.

San Francisco Uses Solid Defense As Well
Defensively, the 49ers have proven their mettle, ranking fourth in the league by allowing a mere 17.5 points per game. Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw lead the team in tackles, while Nick Bosa continued to cause havoc on opposing quarterbacks.

The 49ers allowed 14 points per game in a trio of September wins, before allowing 19.6 per game in the five October games they have played. The 49ers would like to keep opponents closer to the 17 point mark, and they feel they can win every game on their schedule.

What’s Next for the 49ers?
Having just emerged from their bye week, the 49ers are poised to pick up their momentum. Their upcoming schedule includes a game against the Buccaneers, followed by consecutive road contests in Seattle and Philadelphia.

49ers Season Leaders
Passing Yards | B. Purdy: 153-224, 2033 YDS, 12 TD, 5 INT
Rushing Yards | C. McCaffrey: 137 CAR, 652 YDS, 9 TD
Receiving Yards | B. Aiyuk: 35 REC, 620 YDS, 2 TD

Can the Jaguars Win this Game? | Jacksonville’s Red-Hot Streak

The Jaguars, despite a sluggish start to the season, have made a stunning comeback with their recent robust performances. They have secured victory in their last five games, consistently breaching the 20-point mark. Trevor Lawrence has orchestrated a stellar campaign from the quarterback position, amassing 1,935 yards through the air and notching nine touchdowns.

Offensive Weapons a Plenty for Lawrence and Jaguars
Over the course of the season, the Jaguars have been averaging over 228 passing yards per game while rushing for 112. Travis Etienne Jr. leads the running back corps, accumulating an impressive 583 yards on the ground.

Christian Kirk stands as his primary target, having racked up 520 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Kirk has caught 43 passes, which is 10 more than Calvin Ridley. Ridley, coming back from being suspended a season ago has 33 receptions and 451 yards, with two touchdowns, including one in the first game of the season.

Evan Engram is emerging as a top tier tight end, with 434 yards receiving on the season. He leads the Jaguars in targets, with 51.

Walker and Oluokun Leading Charge on Defense
While the Jaguars have not been a sack machine this season, they do have dudes that are putting together a great season. First, Travon Walker leads the team with 3.5 sacks, and has five tackles for loss on the season. Foyesade Oluokun, linebacker has 92 tackles on the season, which is head and shoulders the most on the team. The Jaguars have a pair of guys, in Andre Cisco and Darious WIlliams, who both have three interceptions on the season.

Jacksonville Home for a Bit
The Jaguars are set to engage in the first of back-to-back home games, with the Titans set to visit next week, followed by an away game against the Texans.

Jaguars Season Leaders
Passing Yards | T. Lawrence: 185-271, 1935 YDS, 9 TD, 4 INT
Rushing Yards | T. Etienne Jr.: 151 CAR, 583 YDS, 7 TD
Receiving Yards | C. Kirk: 43 REC, 520 YDS, 3 TD

49ers vs Jaguars Odds and Betting Prediction | A Ton of McCaffrey in Jacksonville on Sunday

This is going to be one of the games on the National Football League schedule for Week 10. There is an outside chance this is a Super Bowl Preview. Just like any team, and any matchup, a lot of things would need to go right, but these two teams both have a chance. Look for the 49ers to get after Trevor Lawrence.

They would like to see the young quarterback beat them. The same can be said about the Jaguars defense for Purdy. But, in the end, the best player on the field is Christian McCaffrey, and with a week off, look for his health to improve. The 49ers use him early and use him often. They need a win. He scores multiple times and the 49ers win. Take the 49ers -3 on Sunday over the Jaguars. Enjoy the game and best of luck betting NFL Week 10!
