Online NFL Against the Spread Predictions – Check Out ‘High-Five’ of Minnesota Vikings 2016 Regular Season Picks!
Week 1
Minnesota (-3, 43) at Tennessee Titans
Analysis: The Vikings are looking to really contend for a berth in Super Bowl 51 in 2016 while Tennessee is simply looking to either reach .500 or get somewhere close to it. Not only that, but the Vikings went 5-1 SU and an insane 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games a year ago while Tennessee went 1-7 SU and just 2-5-1 ATS in their eight home games. I fully expect Minnesota to dominate in all three phases in this regular season opener. The Pick: Minnesota 31 Tennessee 14Week 2
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota (PK)
Analysis: The Vikings snapped a three-game losing streak against the Packers in the second of their two regular season meetings last season, winning 20-13 at Lambeau Field as a 3-point road underdog no less. Minnesota will be looking to snap a three-game home losing streak against the Packers in their 2016 home opener and I believe they’ll get it. After beating out Aaron Rodgers and company for the NFC North division title a year ago, beating Green Bay at home has to be one of Minnesota’s mini-goals for the 2016 regular season. The Pick: Minnesota 27 Green Bay 24Week 7
Minnesota (-1.5) at Philadelphia Eagles
Analysis: The Vikings have won and covered the spread in two straight against the Eagles, but that’s not why I’m picking the Vikings to get the outright road win in this Week 7 NFC clash. No, I’m going with Minnesota simply because they’re the better team in all three phases. While I like Philly’s hiring of Doug Pederson as head coach for 2016 and beyond, the Birds are in a bit of a rebuilding mode while Minnesota is trying to improve on their one-and-done playoff appearance from last season. The Pick: Minnesota 28 Philadelphia 17Week 10
Minnesota (-1.5) at Washington Redskins
Analysis: This is another road matchup the Vikings will have against an NFC East team I believe they are far superior to. While the Redskins won their division last season like the Vikings, all division winners are not created equal as Washington bagged their division crown in what was surely one of the most unremarkable seasons in NFC East history. Minnesota has won two straight and four of five against the Skins while covering the spread in each SU win, but that’s not why I’m picking Minnesota to cover the NFL betting line. Simply put, Minnesota has the edge in all three phases and a head coach in Mike Zimmer that is far superior to Washington’s Jay Gruden. Washington went 1-2 SU and ATS. The Pick: Minnesota 24 Washington 21Week 14
Minnesota (-2.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Analysis: The Vikings may be on the rod in this Week 14 matchup, but they’re the easy pick to win and cash in against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that lost its final three games a year ago while failing to cover the spread each time out. Once again people, the Vikings went 5-1 SU and a perfect 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games while the Jags dropped two of their final three at home in 2015 while failing to over the spread in each loss. Minnesota is the better team in this matchup in every way. The Pick: Minnesota 31 Jacksonville 21MyBookie NFL
