Typically in wild card weekend in the NFL we see quite a few games that don’t feature many teams that stand a shot at winning the title.
This year is completely different, featuring a few title contenders like the Seattle Seahawks (5-1), Pittsburgh Steelers (8-1), and more.

The general consensus about this game is that Kansas City is going to thrash the Texans.
It’s hard to list many reasons to like the Texans in this one.
Their defense is worse, their offense is worse, their record is worse, and the Chiefs are coming into this game on a 10 game winning streak.
The only thing the Texans have going for them is that this game is going to be played on their own home turf.
Generally speaking, Kansas City is 10-0 in their last ten games SU.
The odds are -175 for them currently, and even with that payout, it’s hard not to choose the Chiefs here to continue their win streak at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Best SU NFL Wild Card Betting Pick #2: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh isn’t just a favorite in this game, but they’re one of the favorites to win the title at 8-1 currently.
The Bengals are on a downswing, and the Steelers are on an upswing.
Their offense is clicking, Big Ben is finally healthy, and the Bengals are without their starting quarterback, Andy Dalton, who led them to a 7-0 start.
At -140, the Steelers are a must-pick here.
Unless the Bengals are able to contain Big Ben and Antonio Brown, this game is going to get out of hand quickly.
A.J Mccarron has been struggling, and although the Steelers don’t have an amazing defense, they can surely slow down Mccarron, a backup who’s showed little prowess in the past few games.
I’m choosing the Steelers in this one as a great SU pick.
Best SU NFL Wild Card Betting Pick #3: Green Bay Packers vs Washington Commanders
This is a tricky game — it’s hard to trust the Packers in this one because they’ve played terribly lately, but it’s hard to see the Pack and Aaron Rodgers going down in the first round to the Washington Commanders.
Right now if you get on the Packers, you’re going to get -110 odds, as you’d get with the Commanders as well.
When you really break down each team and compare them to one another, you find that Green Bay is the better team as long as they perform.
The Commanders have no playoff experience as well, which turns out to be a huge factor, even if they are at home.
The Pack are an easy call in this one with -110 odds as a SU pick.
Picking the Seahawks vs Viking is hard to look at because even if you pick the Seahawks, you’re going to get paid 50 cents on the dollar.
It’s hard to predict what you’re going to get from the Vikings in that game as well.
I’m much more comfortable picking these three games at near-even odds and getting a great payout.
