Early Struggles for Carolina Offense
Bryce Young has taken over as the starting quarterback, and his rookie season has not gone well. The Panthers’ offense is one of the worst in the league, with 18.2 points per game.
The Panthers’ passing game is throwing for less than 200 yards per game, and they are not getting to 100 per game on the ground. Young has a 63.9% pass completion percentage but has just five touchdowns and four interceptions in 2023.
His top target, no doubt, has been Adam Thielen. The former Vikings receiver continues to catch passes in bulk, as he has 38 receptions, 394 yards, and three touchdowns on the season.
On the ground for the Panthers has been a significant disappointment. The Panthers brought over Miles Sanders from Philadelphia, and he has been very ineffective. Sanders has just 394 yards and three touchdowns through five games.

Unfortunately for Miami, they will be without Devon Achane in this game and maybe for several games with an injury. The former Texas A+M running back has rushed for 460 yards and five touchdowns while also catching two touchdowns. Raheem Mostert also has seven touchdowns on the ground.
Tyreek Hill, through five games, has 651 receiving yards and five touchdowns, while Jaylen Waddle is second with 245 yards. The Dolphins have a tough test next as they go on the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
