NFL Week 8 Odds Overview & Predictions for Each Game

The NFL didn’t know this when they decided to make Packers versus Cardinals NFL Week 8’s Thursday game, but Green Bay at Arizona is the most important contest so far this season. The Cardinals are undefeated. Green Bay has a single loss. Check out NFL odds, analysis, and a free pick for Cardinals – Packers and every other game in NFL Week 8.

2021 NFL Regular Season – Week 8 Odds Analysis & Picks

2021 NFL Week 8

  • When: Thursday, Oct. 28 – Monday, Nov. 1

Green Bay Packers vs Arizona Cardinals -6

  • When: Thursday, Oct. 28

Most expect undefeated Arizona to easily handle the Packers. Seriously, though, Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are a -6 underdog? Doesn’t the spread seem off? Every team eventually runs into a brick wall they can’t get past. Green Bay could be Zona’s brick wall. Packers could win. GB should cover.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Green Bay Packers

Carolina Panthers -3 vs Atlanta Falcons

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

The Panthers are a mess in every possible way. Sam Darnold is terrible. That’s all we can say about his play. Atlanta has won 3 straight. So consider the Falcons’ moneyline a viable option.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Atlanta Falcons

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills -13 ½

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

Tua has played well enough to help Miami make this closer than the 35-0 blowout loss in the last head-to-head. But, uh, Tua won’t make it close enough for the Fins to win this ATS.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Buffalo Bills

San Francisco 49ers -3 ½ vs Chicago Bears

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

Both the Niners and Bears are struggling. The difference is that San Francisco’s offense and defense has struggled. Save for a lie down and let them kick me performance against the Bucs, the Bears’ D has played well. Chicago straight up.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Chicago Bears moneyline.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns -3 ½

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, and Odell Beckham Jr. should play. The Browns top four skill players will beat up a Steelers’ defense that relies too much on the great T.J. Watt.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Cleveland Browns

Philadelphia Eagles -3 vs Detroit Lions

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

There’s no reason to believe the Eagles are a better team than the Lions. Detroit most definitely has an edge at the running back position with soon to be superstar DeAndre Swift. Motor City’s defense played great in the loss to the Rams in NFL Week 7. Detroit wins their first of the season.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Detroit Lions moneyline

Tennessee Titans -1 vs Indianapolis Colts

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

This is an impossible game to handicap. The key is whether the Titans’ defense continues to play as well as it did against the KC Chiefs. The bottom line for us? Home field. The Colts have it and the Titans don’t.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Indianapolis Colts

Cincinnati Bengals -10 vs New York Jets

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

The Jets are a mess. Joe Flacco or Mike White will get the start. Although Cincinnati could play down to NYJ’s level after the stunning upset win agianst the Ravens in Week 7, the Stripes should still cover the spread.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

Los Angeles Rams -14 ½ vs Houston Texans

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

The Texans are a terrible football team. But Houston gets the mighty Rams at home. Los Angeles’ defense allows close to 21 points per. So if the Texans are smart with the football, they should keep this to a 14-point or less loss.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Houston Texans

New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers -5 ½

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

The Patriots’ offense exploded for 54 points in New England’s last versus the lowly Jets, which means, of course, that Bill Belichick’s team scores 10 to 14 against the Chargers. 10 to 14 won’t be enough for the cover victory.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Los Angeles Chargers

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Seattle Seahawks -3

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

Seattle allows 414.7 total yards per. Don’t be surprised if Trevor Lawrence lights up the Seahawks’ secondary. The Jaguars are the moneyline pick.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars

Washington Football Team vs Denver Broncos -3

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

This is a game the Washington Commanders can win. Denver’s linebacking corps is a mess. The WFT played okay against a much better team, the Green Bay Packers, in a two touchdown loss. Denver can’t score. Lots of reasons to like Washington to end the losing streak.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Washington Football Team moneyline

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -5 ½ vs New Orleans Saints

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

On paper, Tampa should roll. But the Saints get their rivals in the dome. More importantly, New Orleans is the type of team that could frustrate the Buccaneers. Expect Sean Payton to have the perfect game plan to keep this close until the final whistle.

NFL Week 8 Pick: New Orleans Saints

Dallas Cowboys -2 ½ vs Minnesota Vikings

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 31

Few defenses can contain the Cowboys’ offense. The Vikings allow 128 rushing yards per game. Zeke should run wild. If Minnesota puts an eighth man in the box, Dak will throw for over 400. Dallas covers this spread.

NFL Week 8 Pick: Dallas Cowboys

New York Giants vs Kansas City Chiefs -10

  • When: Monday, Nov. 1

The Kansas City Chiefs shouldn’t be favored by 10 points over anybody. The Giants head to KC after beating Carolina 25-3. Right now, it’s difficult to know which team is struggling more, the Chiefs or NYG? At +10, the Giants should have no trouble covering.

NFL Week 8 Pick: New York Giants
