Here’s A Closer Look At The NFL Week 9 Betting Lines For Biggest Matchups
Denver at Oakland
When: Sunday, November 6 at 8:30 PM ET Where: Oakland Coliseum TV: NBC Odds: Denver -1 Analysis: The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders have both won two straight games and both have legitimate playoff hopes right now. The Broncos are a 1-point road favorite, because of their outstanding defense, but I’m not so sure they should be, seeing as how Derek Carr and the Raiders keep finding ways to ‘just win baby’.Philadelphia at NY Giants
When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM ET Where: MetLife Stadium TV: FOX Odds: NY Giants -2.5 Analysis: The Philadelphia Eagles (4-3 SU, 4-3 ATS) have lost three of four while the New York Giants (4-3 SU, 2-3-2 ATS) have won two straight. Both teams have identical 4-3 records right now, but still, for me, it doesn’t feel like the Giants are the better team with Philly ranking inside the top 10 in both scoring and points allowed defensively.Buffalo at Seattle
When: Monday, November 7, 2016 at 8:30 PM ET Where: CenturyLink Field TV: ESPN Odds: Seattle -6.5 Analysis: The Buffalo Bills (4-4 SU, 4-4 ATS) have lost two straight and had their three-game winning streak emphatically snapped against New England last weekend. The Seattle Seahawks (4-2-1 SU, 3-4 ATS) enter this contest off a Week 6 tie and 25-20 Week 7 upset loss against New Orleans. While Russell Wilson and company are my pick to get the win and ATS cover, I’m not real fond of the 6.5-point spread – and I believe Seattle’s uninspiring offense could give Seahawks betting backers a reason for concern.Indianapolis at Green Bay
When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 4:25 PM ET Where: Lambeau Field TV: CBS Total: 54 Analysis: Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts are putting up a solid 26.0 points per game to rank an encouraging ninth in scoring. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are averaging 24.5 points per game to rank respectable 11th in scoring. Make no mistake about it, this looks like an exciting, high-scoring shootout just waiting to happen – and 54 total points looks very manageable to me!Pittsburgh at Baltimore
When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM ET Where: M&T Bank Stadium TV: CBS Odds: Baltimore -3 Analysis: The Steelers (4-3 SU, 4-3 ATS) have dropped two straight games, but will get quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back on the field for their Week 9 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens (3-4 SU, 2-5 ATS). Can the Ravens cover the spread as field goal home favorites against their hated AFC North division rivals or will Big Ben get the Steelers back on track for a high seed in the AFC playoffs?Detroit at Minnesota
When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM ET Where: U.S. Bank Stadium TV: FOX Odds: Minnesota -6 Analysis: The Detroit Lions (4-4 SU, 4-4 ATS) had their three-game winning streak snapped in their humbling 20-13 loss to Houston last weekend, but Minnesota (5-2 SU, 5-2 ATS) has been limited to just 10 points in two straight losses against Philly in Week 7 and Chicago on Monday night. Can the Vikes cover the spread as nearly touchdown home faves or will Matthew Stafford and the Lions turn this NFC North divisional matchup into a knock-down, drag-out affair? I’m going with the former – but just barely.NY Jets at Miami
When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM ET Where: Hard Rock Stadium TV: CBS Odds: Miami -3.5 Analysis: The New York Jets (3-5 SU, 3-4-1 ATS) and Miami Dolphins (3-4 SU, 3-4 ATS) have both won two straight games, but let’s be honest for a moment. Miami’s wins over Pittsburgh and Buffalo have been far more impressive than New York’s wins over Baltimore and lowly Cleveland. I know you’re going to be shocked to see me write it…but I’m actually thinking Ryan Tannehill is going to be the best quarterback on the field in this one, making the Dolphins the pick to win and cover the NFL betting line as 3.5-point home favorites against the Jets.MyBookie NFL
