NHL Betting | Top Must Bet Games On Friday, Mar. 25th and Sunday, Mar. 27th

Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Rangers

  • When: Friday, March 25

The Pens head into the weekend playing great hockey. Pittsburgh has won 5-of-7. The lone loss, which happened in their last on March 23, occurred in a shootout.

The New York Rangers are also playing well. NYR is 4-2 SU in their last 6. This match is huge because Pittsburgh shows 88 points while the Rangers have 85. NYR gets the edge because this takes place in the Garden.

NHL Pick: New York Rangers

Philadelphia Flyers at Colorado Avalanche

  • When: Friday, March 25

Philadelphia isn’t nearly as strong this season as they were in the past couple of seasons. One of the problems appears to be that James van Reimsdyk isn’t dominating like he did in 2020 and 2021.

Colorado, the preseason Stanley Cup chalk, leads the Central with 95 points. The Flyers are at St. Louis on Thursday before taking on the Avs in Colorado on Friday. That’s a tough 2-game stretch. The Avalanche have a shot to win this on the puck line.

NHL Pick: Colorado Avalanche

New York Islanders at Boston Bruins

  • When: Saturday, March 26

As of March 23, the Islanders have won 7-of-10. They’ve won 3 of their last 4 matches.

But although NYI is in every good form, Boston’s form is slightly better. The Bruins have won 5-of-6 heading into their Thursday night matchup versus the Lightning.

Boston, no doubt, will be tough to beat. The Islanders won the last head-to-head, though, and it wasn’t that close, 4-1. The odds should make NYI an overlay. The road team is the play.

NHL Pick: New York Islanders

Carolina Hurricanes at St. Louis Blues

  • When: Saturday, March 26

Heading into the weekend, Carolina leads the Metropolitan with 90 points. St. Louis is in second place in the Central with 79 points.

The Blues aren’t in great form. St. Louis has lost 7-of-10. Not counting their March 24 game versus the Philadelphia Flyers, St. Louis is 1-3 SU in their last 4. Because Carolina is on the road, the Hurricanes should offer decent odds to beat the Blues. Give the Hurricanes a shot.

NHL Pick: Carolina Hurricanes

Florida Panthers at Toronto Maple Leafs

  • When: Sunday, March 27

The Atlantic Division is stacked. Florida has 90 points, Tampa has 84, and Toronto has 85. Florida has leapt to the top by outshooting and averaging more goals per game than their opponents.

The Panthers shoot the puck 36.6 times per game. Florida averages 4.1 goals per. Both rank first in NHL. But although Florida has the best offense in the league, Toronto won the last head-to-head 5-3. The home team is a solid play.

NHL Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs

Montreal Canadiens at New Jersey Devils

  • When: Sunday, March 27

As of March 23, the Canadiens have 44 points. The Devils have 51 points. Neither squad will make the postseason, which makes this match intriguing.

Which team will get it done? Montreal has won just 1 of their last 4. But the Canadiens did hang with the Boston Bruins in a 3-2 overtime loss on March 21. The Devils, though, won the last head-to-head and it wasn’t close, 7-1. New Jersey scores the victory.

NHL Pick: New Jersey Devils
