Cash Out Rules
The “Cash Out” feature in sports betting allows bettors to settle their bets before the event has finished. It provides an opportunity to lock in profit or minimize potential losses, based on the current circumstances of the bet. Examples:
Football: Suppose you bet $100 on Team A to win an NFL game against Team B. At halftime, Team A is leading by two touchdowns. MyBookie will offer you a Cash Out amount of $150. If you accept the Cash-Out offer, you secure a profit of $50 ($150 – $100) regardless of the final outcome. If you decline the offer and Team A ends up losing, you will lose the entire $100.
Tennis: Let’s say you bet $50 on Player X to win a tennis match. After the first set, Player X is losing. MyBookie offers you a Cash-Out amount of $30. By accepting the offer, you limit your potential loss to $20 ($50 – $30). If you decline the offer and Player X fails to make a comeback, you will lose the entire $50.
How to Cash Out
Wagers which are available to be Cashed Out will be displayed under the Bet Slip tab “Cash Out”. A player can also cash out via the Open Bets page.
Wagers, where Cash Out is Not Available, will be listed under the “Unsettled” tab:
Wagers settled in the past 24 hours will be listed under the “Settled Tab”. If the wager was Cashed Out, the Settled tab will display the Cashed Out amount the player received. Winning and losing will wager will also be displayed. The settled tab is sorted by the most recently settled wager first.
Cash Out Statuses
Bets will be switched between two statuses until they have settled: Cash Out Available and Cash Out Not Available. Bets will alternate through these two statuses during an event until the event is settled.
Cash Out Available
- When this status is active, a player can cash out their Bet. To do so they must click the button stating, “Cash Out $Value”. The player must then click “Confirm” on the same button to initiate the Cash Out process.
- A Cash-Out Bet request will be confirmed based on the confirmation delay the player received when placing a Bet. For example, a pre-match Bet has no delay when confirming, therefore, the Cash Out will have no delay. A live Bet has a 4-second delay on confirmation, therefore, the CashOut request for a Bet containing a live selection will also have a 4-second delay. Delays may be updated based on the preference of the Trading Team.
- If the Cash Out offers $value changes during the Cash-Out confirmation process, the Cash Out request will be not successful, and the player will be prompted to confirm once again the CashOut offer. When this happens, the player will be shown the message “The odds have been updated”. The Cash-Out button will then reappear, and the player must repeat the process to confirm the Cash-Out amount.
Cash Out Not Available
- Cash Out Not Available can occur for any number of reasons. To reduce contacts, we have included a tooltip when the Cash-Out button displays “Cash Out Not Available”. The tooltip reads as follows:
- Cash Out is available on selected events and markets both pre-match and in play, on straight and parlay bets. Cash Out is not available on Teasers, Player Props, Horse Racing, or Virtual Sports. For more information on Cash Out rules.
- Cash Out Not Available will also occur in any instance where an event, market, or selection is suspended for Betting. In the simplest form, if the selections in a Bet do not have odds available to bet at the time of cash out, then Cash Out is Not Available.
- When an event is over, but before Bets have settled, Cash Out is Not Available.
Cash Out Account History
When a wager is Cashed Out the ticket will display as Cashed Out in the account history. The amount that the player received back to their balance for Cashing Out the wager is listed at the bottom of the bet ticket next to “Cashed Out”
The risk and potential win amounts are also displayed so that the player has a record of what the original return on the ticket was.
Wagers that are not Cashed Out will display normally as either a Win or a Loss.
^Cash Out Terms and Conditions
- Cash Out will be available on selected events and markets both pre-match and In-Play, on straight and parlay bets (Cash out can also be available on Parlays with Open Spots).
- Cash Out is not available on Teasers, Player Props, Horse Racing, or Virtual Sports.
- A time delay in accepting a Cash Out request is in place. If a price changes or a market suspends then the Cash Out request may not be successful. If this happens, you will be prompted to confirm the new amount before the cash-out will be successful.
- If the Cash Out request is successful, this will be displayed and the bet will be settled immediately. The actual final result of the original bet will have no impact on the Cash Out amount.
- The Cash-Out amount offered at any time is the total amount that will be returned to your account if the Cash Out request is successful.
- A successfully confirmed Cash Out offer is final and cannot be undone.
- Cashed Out bets do not count toward rollover.
- We reserve the right to remove all or part of the Cash Out feature for any customer or group of customers where it has reasonable grounds to believe that the customer or group of customers is misusing Cash Out by frequently using the feature to take advantage of pre-event price movements and closing their bets through the Cash Out feature before the event has started.
- We will not be responsible if the Cash Out feature is not available for technical reasons and bets will stand as originally placed during any such period.
- We cannot guarantee that the Cash Out feature will be available on your bet selection.
- Where Cash Out is available pre-event and we do not cover or we stop covering the event In-Play, then Cash Out will be unavailable once the event starts or when our In-Play coverage stops.
- Cash Out will not be available when a market is suspended and has no odds.
- We reserve the right to accept or decline any bet/wager requested for any sport, competition, market, or bet type that is included in the Cash Out feature.
- We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or remove the Cash Out feature (or any part of it) at any time for any event, market, or customer. Any bets placed on such events or markets will stand as originally placed.
- We reserve the right to reverse the settlement of a Cash Out if the bet or a market is settled in error.
- We reserve the right to reverse a Cash-Out wager if the wager was placed on an obvious line error and cashed out upon correction.
- Cash Out is not available for wagers placed using free play.
Pre Game Betting Rules
Pre-Game General Betting Rules
The general betting rules set out here may be modified at any time at our sole discretion. There are exceptions or variations to these rules for certain sports. Please always consult the sport-specific rules of each sport, found under the sport name, as the sport-specific rules will take precedence over the general rules.
For sports without specific sports rules, general rules will apply.
For anything not covered by these rules, MyBookie reserves the right to decide on an individual basis. If the rules or format of a game differ from the accepted norm, MyBookie reserves the right to void betting.
- If markets were offered when the result was already known, we reserve the right to void any betting.
- In the case of an incorrect settlement of markets, we reserve the right to correct them anytime.
- If the result of a market cannot be verified, we reserve the right to delay the settlement until official confirmation. If the result of a market cannot be verified officially, we reserve the right to void them.v
- Markets including overtime will be displayed as (Incl overtime) next to the market name.
- In situations where the event is played at a venue different from that listed, all bets on the event will stand provided the game is not switched to the opponent’s venue and home and away teams for the game are not reversed, in which MyBookie reserves the right to void betting.
- In the event of a change of opponent from the one listed, all bets for that game are void.
- If a game does not adhere to the normal format (e.g., unusual period length, counting procedure, the format of a game, etc.); MyBookie reserves the right to void betting.
- MyBookie reserves the right to change the market offering at any time, as well as suspend or close betting on events before the scheduled start time.
- In the case of any obvious line errors, we reserve the right to void betting.
- MyBookie reserves the right to suspend odds during an event due to failed transmission or other technical-related issues or if fraud is suspected.
- MyBookie reserves the right to void bets at any point due to technical fault or palpable errors
- Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Rules for the specific sport, if a game is postponed or abandoned and is completed within 48 hours of the previously scheduled start time, then all open bets will be settled with the final result. If the game is not completed within 48 hours, then all undecided bets are considered void.
- If a game is stopped before the completion of the game time and not finished on the same day. Markets where the result is already known at the time of the game stopping (the result has already been decided) such as ‘First Team to Score’, “First Touchdown Scorer”, etc. will stand. All bets where the result is not already known will be void unless otherwise specified in the sport-specific rule.
- Race to Xth Point (incl. overtime): Unless otherwise stated, if a game ends before the Xth point is reached, this market is considered void.
- Half/Quarter/Period Markets: Unless otherwise stated, only goals/points/corners, etc. scored in the respective period will count towards the settlement of the market.
- Odd/Even Markets: Unless otherwise stated, total counts of zero will be settled as Even.
- Head-to-Head: Unless otherwise stated in the sport-specific rules, at least one competitor must finish the event, or all bets will be void.
- If one or more competitors fail to start, all bets are considered void.
- If all competitors are disqualified or otherwise excluded, all bets are considered void.
- If both competitors in a head-to-head achieve the same result and no draw odds are offered, then all bets are considered void.
- Statistics provided by the official score(s) provider or the official website of the relevant competition or fixture will be used to settle wagers. Where statistics from an official score(s) provider or official website are not available or there is significant evidence that the official score(s) provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement. In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.
Futures
- All futures markets have action. If a participant does not compete in the event, the wager will be considered a loss, unless otherwise stated in the sport-specific rules.
- In cases where the event is canceled, then all bets will be declared void.
- In cases where the venue for an event is changed, we reserve the right to void any betting.
- Unless stated otherwise, whenever the organizing association deems it fit to include any necessary rounds, games, or series of games (e.g., Play-offs, Play-outs, Postseason) following the end of the so-called Regular Season in order to determine the classification, league winners, promotion/relegation, etc., MyBookie will take into account the results and outcomes from these games for settlement purposes. For example, seasonal bets on the team winning the NHL will refer to the Stanley Cup Winners.
- Wagers that will settle based on the result of Regular Season standings will clearly state “Regular Season” on the market and will be settled as such.
- All events are settled based on the award ceremony or the competition’s official scoresheet, without taking into consideration the results of any subsequent investigations or disqualifications.
- Dead Heat rules apply for Future markets. A dead heat is when two or more competitors tie for a position in an event. In these cases, dead heats will be paid based on the number of positions tied for divided by the number of competitors tied for that position.
Player Props
- All bets made before a venue change will be voided.
- If the game starts but is abandoned or suspended at any time before the game reaches a natural end and the game does not resume within 5 hours, then all bets on that player will be void.
- If any player selected for any bet type does not participate in the game, then all bets on that player will be void.
- With the exclusion of soccer, all player props will have action if the player participates in the game.
- For Soccer only, if any player selected for any bet type does not start the game, then all bets on that player will be void.

- Once the contest fills or the game starts, numbers will be assigned, and the game board will be complete.
- All contests run and feature a 100% payout regardless of whether or not all 100 squares have been purchased.
- All sales are final.
- Winnings will be paid in cash funds and credited to your account.
- In the event of an NFL/NCAAF/NBA game being officially canceled or postponed and rescheduled more than 72 hours from the scheduled start, all squares on that event will be canceled, and the funds returned to your account.
Scoring
- The total, accumulative score of each team at the end of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters, along with the Final score, determines the winners.
- The last number in each team’s total score is matched with the grid, and the owner of the square where those numbers intersect is the winner. (Example: The total score at the end of the 2nd Quarter is Arizona Cardinals 14, New England Patriots 10. The last number for the Cardinals is 4, and the last number for the Patriots is 0. The square on the game board that has the Cardinals number 4 and Patriots number 0 would be the winner of the 2nd Quarter Prize.).
- The Final score includes any points accumulated in Overtime if played.
- If Overtime is played, the points scored in the Overtime will be added to the 4th Quarter points in the Box Score.
Prize Payouts NFL, NCAA Football, and NBA
- 1st Quarter: 20% of the Prize Pool
- 2nd Quarter: 20% of the Prize Pool

Squares Contest: How to Play
Squares contest! It’s super easy and fun! The Squares game starts off with a 10 by 10 grid. This will give you 100 Squares to choose from. Each game will have its own 10 x 10 grid.
- Log in to your MyBookie account. Or create an account now.
- Visit the Contests section of the website and click the Buy Squares button to enter the Squares lobby.
- Select a game, and you will be immediately presented with that game’s Square game details page which will provide the following details:
- Teams playing. For example Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers
- Date and time.
- Scoreboard.
- Entry fee. This is the cost for each square. e.g. $12
- Prize pool. e.g. $1000
- Available. These are the available squares for purchase in the current grid.
- Purchased. The number of squares already purchased in the current grid.
- Free entries. If you have free entries these will be displayed here.
We will then present the grid sheet with one team assigned to the columns, and the other team to the rows.
Select from the squares that are currently available for purchase. and click on “Purchase”.
Once your purchase is complete, your name will be assigned to the square and no one else will be able to purchase that square. When all the squares have been filled, because all the squares were purchased (by you and other customers), we will automatically assign numbers from 0 through 9 to each column and row header.
Now each square represents a specific score in the game based on the column and row header numbers. A winning square will be determined at the end of the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and Final Game score.
The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each team’s score, and then matching those numbers on the grid headers. The winning square intersects those two numbers in column and row.
For example: the Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers, and the score at end of the game was Rockets 93 and Lakers 84. The last number for the Rockets is 3, and the last number for the Lakers is 4. The square on the grid header that displays the Rockets with a number of 3, and Lakers score of 4, would be the winner.
You will be able to see your purchased squares from the Open Contests section once the grid is sold out on your grid sheet or until the game starts. You can also view your purchased squares in the ticket history section. For a complete list of Squares rules, click here.

- Sportsbook platform reserves the right to cancel any bet made on obviously “bad” odds, switched odds or a bet made after an event has started or match was aff ected by obvious technical problems.
- All bets will be settled, when the outcome of the market is decided.
- Market “Match” (1X2) is where it is possible to bet on the (partial or definite) outcome of a match or event. The options are: “1” = Home team, or team listed to the left side of the off er; “X” = Draw, or the selection in the middle; “2” = Away team, or team listed to the right side of the off er.
- Market “Correct Score” ( is where it is possible to bet on the (partial or definite) exact score of a match or event.
- Market “Over/Under” (Totals) is where it is possible to bet on the (partial or definite) amount of a predefined occurrence (e.g., goals, points, corners, rebounds, penalty minutes, etc.). Should the total amount of the listed occurrences be exactly equal to the betting line, then all bets on this off er will be declared void. Example: an off er where the betting line is 128.0 points and the match ends with the result 64-64 will be declared void.
- Market “Odd/Even” is where it is possible to bet on the (partial or definite) amount of a predefined occurrence (e.g., goals, points, corners, rebounds, penalty minutes, etc.).”Odd” is 1,3,5 etc.; “Even” is 0,2,4 etc.
- Market “Half time/Full time” is where it is possible to bet on the result in half-time and the final outcome of the match. e.g., if at Half time the score is 1-0 and the match ends 1-1, the winning outcome is 1/X. The bet is void if the regular time of the match is played in a diff erent time format than those listed in the bet (i.e. other than two halves).
- Market “Period betting” is where it is possible to bet on the outcome of each separate period within a match/event.
- Market “Draw No Bet” is where it is possible to bet on either “1” or “2” as defined in . It is also common practice to refer to “Draw No Bet” in cases where no draw odds are off ered. Should the specific match contain no winner (e.g., match ends as a draw), or the particular occurrence does not happen (e.g., Draw No Bet and match ends 0-0) the stakes will be refunded.
- Market “Handicap” is where it is possible to bet on whether the chosen outcome will be victorious once the listed handicap is added/subtracted (as applicable) to the match/period/total score to which the bet refers to. In those circumstances where the result after the adjustment of the handicap line is exactly equal to the betting line, then all bets on this off er will be declared void.
- Market Asian Handicap: Home team (-1.75) vs Away team (+1.75). This means that the stake is divided into 2 equal bets and placed on the outcomes -1.5 and -2.0. For the bet to be fully paid out at the listed odds, Team A must win the match with a bigger margin than both of their listed handicaps (i.e. 3 goals or more margin). In the eventuality that Team A wins with only a 2 goal margin, the bet will be considered as partially won with a full payout on the -1.5 part of the bet and a refund on the -2.0 side since the outcome on that part of the bet would be considered a “tie”. Should the match produce any other outcome, including a Team A victory with only 1 goal margin, the whole stake would be lost. Away teams are given a +1.75 goal advantage in the match. This means that the stake is divided into 2 equal bets and placed on the outcomes +1.5 and +2.0.
- Market “Double Chance” is where it is possible to bet simultaneously on two (partial or definite) outcomes of a match or event. The options are: 1X, 12 and X2 with “1”, “X” and “2” as defined in.

- Bets on “Quarter / Half / Period X” refer to the result/score achieved in the relevant timeframe and does not include any other points/goals/events tallied from other parts of the event/match. Bets will be voided if the match is played in any other format but the one stipulated in the off er.
- Bets on “Result at end of Quarter / Half / Period X…” refer to the result of the match/event after termination of the stipulated time frame and will take into account all other points/goals/events tallied from previous parts of the event/match.
- Bets on “Race to X Points / Race to X Goals…” and similar off ers refer to the team/participant reaching the earliest the particular tally of points/goals/events. If the off er lists a timeframe (or any other period restriction) it will not include any other points/goals/events tallied from other parts of the event/match which are not related to the mentioned time frame. Should the listed score not be reached within the stipulated time frame (if any), all bets will be declared void, unless otherwise stated.
- Bets on “Winner of Point X / Scorer of Goal X” and similar off ers refer to the team/participant scoring/winning the listed occurrence. For the settlement of these off ers, no reference to events happening prior to the listed occurrence will be taken into consideration. Should the listed event not be scored/won within the stipulated time frame (if any), all bets will be declared void, unless otherwise stated.
- Any reference for a team to win all halves/periods (e.g., Team to win both halves) means that the listed team must score more goals than its opponent during all the stipulated halves/periods of the match.
