2025 LaLiga Betting Breakdown: Odds, Picks & Title Race Bets to Make This Week

This Week’s Top Matches to Bet in La Liga

The La Liga odds for Matchday 35 are up and we have some amazing matchups to look forward to. Let’s look at the La Liga betting lines for some of the big games:

Atletico Madrid -154 vs Real Sociedad +410 – Draw +275

Madrid is looking to keep their slim title hopes alive and are favored by ½ goal at home. These two tied in an earlier meeting this season, but I like Atletico at home.

Athletic Club -116 vs Deportivo Alaves +350 – Draw +220

Bilbao could be out of the Europa League this week, so they will be looking to maintain their current standing, which would see them in the Champions League next season.

Barcelona -110 vs Real Madrid +232 – Draw +310

This is the La Liga bet that everyone will be looking at this week, as it could be the title decider of Barcelona wins. Barcelona is favored by ½ goal.

Best Value Bets Based on Recent Form & Matchups

When looking at La Liga betting for this weekend, you need to look at several factors. Current form is the key indicator, but it will not tell the whole story.

The La Liga betting odds will show clear favorites, but are their underdog picks there for the taking?

One bet that stands out this week is the goal total in the Barcelona/Real Madrid game, which is set at 3 ½. 5 of the last 6 meetings between these teams have gone OVER that total, which is the kind of trend that makes this one look like a lock.

Tracking La Liga Odds Movement: What the Market is Saying

A good example of how La Liga betting odds might change can be seen this week with Athletic Club.

They have a Thursday game in the Europa League and are already struggling with injuries. If things get worse prior to the next league game, the La Liga odds might well reflect that.

LaLiga Betting Winner Odds & Futures: Buy Now or Wait?

If you are looking at the La Liga winner odds, now is probably the time to pull the trigger. Barcelona looks as close to locking things up as possible, and if they beat Real Madrid this weekend, all value will be gone.

The relegation and European spots are almost certainly locked up, so there is not a ton of value there, so the La Liga winner odds might be the only way to go.

Top 4 teams Odds to win this Season 2024

It was a big weekend these past few days, with most of the major European domestic leagues getting back down to business.

The exception was the Bundesliga in Germany, which will begin this week. It’s the start of a long season, and while we did see some surprises along the way, it’s never a good idea to get too up or down based on one weekend of action.

My Analysis

We will do our best to cover as much of the action as possible over the coming weeks and months, but let’s get things started by looking at the potential LaLiga winners in Spain.

There is a very definite favorite to start the year, but will things go as planned?

Let’s take a look at the current odds for the top 4.

Real Madrid LaLiga Pick -230

When you look at the Real Madrid starting lineup, especially on the offensive side of the field, it’s tough to imagine them running into too many problems this season.

That said, things did not go particularly smoothly on Matchday 1 for Madrid, as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw on the road to Mallorca.

This was definitely not the start that anyone expected, especially when you consider how Real Madrid ran away with LaLiga last season.

Like we said, though, one game does not make a season, so look for the champs to step it up a gear or two in the coming weeks.

Barcelona LaLiga Pick +330

The last few seasons have been problematic for Barcelona, with many of their problems seeming to coincide with the departure of Lionel Messi.

The reality, though, is that this is a team with some serious money problems, so it may be a minute before they are back to the level of play we saw during the Messi era.

They are still likely to be the biggest obstacle for Real Madrid, and we did see Barcelona get their season off to a winning start with a 2-1 win on the road against Valencia, with Robert Lewandowski netting twice.

Atletico Madrid LaLiga Pick +760

It was something of an off season for Atletico last season, as they had to settle for 4th in LaLiga, well off the pace set by the eventual champions.

One of the problems for this team has been their inability to score goals, although that has more to do with the mindset of head coach, Diego Simeone, who is very much a defense first type of guy.

We are still waiting to see the opening game for Atletico, who will open the season on the road against Villareal on Monday afternoon.

Girona LaLiga Pick +2600

When you consider the might and dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona, finishing 3rd in LaLiga is quite a feat. That is what Girona did last season, finishing 3rd, just 4 points back of Barcelona.

That was a massive leap for a team that was mid-table the previous year. The big question now is whether they can build on that momentum and move up, or whether they will slip back into mediocrity.

Girona had a tricky road trip to face Real Betis in Matchday 1, coming away with a 1-1 draw in that one.

2023-2024 LaLiga Odds

Although the schedule for the 2023-2024 LaLiga Season has been set, oddsmakers have yet to decide which among the top three teams, Barca, Real, or Atletico, is the chalk to win next season. One of the issues? Karim Benzema, Real’s top player, bolted to the Saudi Arabian League. Also, Messi turned his back on Barcelona to play for David Beckham’s Inter Miami squad. Because things are changing so quickly, we’re adding predicted odds to win LaLiga next season.

True odds should land in the next week or so. Check out our predicted LaLiga betting lines, early picks, and then use our info and your handicapping skills to find next soccer season’s LaLiga winner.

LaLiga Odds to Win Next Season & Early Picks | MyBookie LaLiga Betting Preview

2023-2024 LaLiga Season: August 12, 2023 – May 26, 2024

To Win: Real Madrid +250

Benzema is a massive loss to the entire league. He’s one of the greatest European soccer player of all time. Why did Benzema bolt to Saudia Arabia? Money, of course.

Losing Benzema is huge, but for El Blanco, it’s not the end of the world. Vinicius Junior remains part of the team. So does Modric and so does Toni Kroos.

Modric and Kroos playing at least one more season with Real is massive because Carlo Ancelotti managed a transfer of Jude Bellingham from Dortmund to Madrid.

The 19-year-old Bellingham is emerging as one of the world’s best midfielders. Ancelotti emphasizes the midfield more than the attack, which might be the reason Real placed an emphasize on transferring Bellingham.

Which player will Real target to replace Benzema? Most believe it’s Harry Kane. We’ve got a different idea. If Real can’t transfer Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, move Junior to the top along with Rodrygo and then play Bellingham, Modric, Kroos, and Valverde in the middle.

No matter what Real does, it will be the right move. RM returns to the top of LaLiga next season.

Second Place: Barcelona +150

Barcelona skipper Xavi has to be stinging after Messi turned him down. Lionel and Xavi know each other well. To make matters worse, the latest rumor has Sergio Busquets looking to join Messi in Miami.

All hope isn’t lost for Barcelona, though. Lewandowski, even at 34, can score goals like there’s no tomorrow. Not only that, but Ansu Fati scored 7 goals in 12 starts last season. Fati is only 20.

Xavi will find a way to make Barca a contender no matter what changes they go through. Give the defending champs a shot.

Third Place: Atletico Madrid +550

Our predicted odds make Atletico a third choice with a chance. Atletico, though, almost never realizes the success that Real and Barca have in a season.

Atletico is still dealing with Jao Felix. AM may loan Jao out to Newcastle after Felix is done with Chelsea. As it stands now, AM shouldn’t beat Real or Barcelona for the LaLiga title.

Top Underdog Pick: Sevilla +1600

Sevilla had a terrible LaLiga season, but the club won the Europa League, which tells us they are a decent team. Sevilla doesn’t often make the type of moves that Barca and Real make.

Still, the team has some talent. Lukas Ocampos can play in the middle of the field or serve as a striker. Ivan Rakitic, even at 35, remains a fantastic midfielder.

One of the World Cup’s stars, Morocco’s Youssef En-Nesyri, plays for Sevilla. There are some things to like about the top underdog play.

2023-2024 LaLiga Season Predicted Odds

It would be a massive upset if any team outside of the following listed won the Spanish Primera Division. So we didn’t predict odds for teams like Cadiz, Almeria, or the two promoted squads: Granada and Las Palmas.

Team Odds
Barcelona +150
Real Madrid +250
Atletico Madrid +550
Sevilla +1600
Athletic Bilbao +2500
Villareal +30000
Real Sociedad +3500
Real Betis +4000
Osasuna +5000
