The Formula 1 Calendar for the 2024 season is out. 2024 Formula One World Championship | 75th edition of the Formula One World Championship
Tuesday, March 2nd – November 26, 2023

March 5 – April 2 | F1 Analysis on First Month

Round 1 – Bahrain – March 5
Round 2 – Saudi Arabia – March 19
Round 3 – Australia – April 2

If history repeats itself, Max won’t start crossing the finish line first with regularity until after the first three events. In 2023, Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to keep Max from sweeping the first couple of races.

April 30 – May 21 | F1 Analysis on Second Month

Round 4 – Azerbaijan – April 30
Round 5 – United States Miami – May 7
Round 6 – Italy Gran Premio – May 21

Perez also took the checkered flag at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Verstappen finished second behind Perez.

Max won in Miami to set up a great showdown with his teammate in Italy. Unfortunately, Formula 1 had to cancel the Emilia Romagna due to intense flooding in Rome.

Expect a lot of press to be at this year’s first race in Italy.

May 28 – June 18 | F1 Analysis on Third Month

Round 7 – Monaco – May 28
Round 8 – Spain – June 4
Round 9 – Canada – June 18

Verstappen swept Monaco, Spain, and Canada. After Max’s win in Canada, most Formula 1 fans knew that once again, Red Bull technical engineer Adrian Newey had created the fastest car in F1, and that the league’s top driver was behind the wheel.

July 2 – July 23 | F1 Analysis on Fourth Month

Round 10 – Austria: July 2
Round 11 – Great Britain: July 11
Round 12 – Hungary: July 23

Max and Red Bull also swept Austria, Great Britain, and Hungary. The Verstappen train was in full force and Red Bull was in control.

July 2023, though, is also when Rob Marshall decided to leave Newey’s team and head to McLaren. It would take more time for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, McLaren’s drivers, to start making an impact.

July 30 – September 3 | F1 Analysis on Fifth Month

Round 13 – Belgium: July 30
Round 14 – Netherlands: August 27
Round 15 – Italy Pirelli Gran Premio: September 3

Another three Formula 1 races led to three more Max Verstappen victories. These races in next year could see different outcomes if Mercedes and Ferrari return to prominence and if Marshall’s engineering wizardry takes hold at McLaren.

September 16 – October 8 | F1 Analysis on Sixth Month

Round 16 – Singapore: September 16
Round 17 – Japan: September 24
Round 18 – Qatar: October 28

Carlos Sainz ended Max’s streak of checkered flag victories with an amazing win at the Singapore Grand Prix. Sainz’s victory was the first from any driver not named Max Verstappen since Perez won in Azerbaijan.

Verstappen went on to win in Japan and Qatar.

October 22 – November 5 | F1 Analysis on Seventh Month

Round 19 – United States: October 22
Round 20 – Mexico: October 29
Round 21 – Brazil: November 5

Verstappen won the drivers championship early. But Max and Red Bull continued to dominate taking the checkered flags at the United State Grand Prix, the Mexico Grand Prix, and the Brazilian Grand Prix.

November 18 – November 26 | F1 Analysis on Eighth Month

Round 22 – United States Las Vegas: November 18
Round 23 – Abu Dhabi: November 26

For the first time in history, F1 ran a race in Las Vegas. The race wasn’t without incident. Leading up to the event Carlos Sainz ended up running over a pipe that jutted out of the ground.

For most F1 enthusiasts, the Vegas Grand Prix was a failure. Formula 1, though, will return to Sin City in 2024. Verstappen took the Vegas GP and the final race, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Max won the F1 title with the most points in history, 575. Will history repeat itself for a third straight year?

Will Marshall’s changes give Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri shots to beat Verstappen and Red Bull? Will Ferrari and Mercedes bounce back?

2022 Season Rundown | F1 Betting

2021 was a fantastic year for Formula 1 fans, as it delivered the best World Championship battles we have seen in quite some time. Having said that, it also delivered a finish that left a bitter taste in the mouths of a lot of race fans. It looked as though Lewis Hamilton was well on his way to winning in Abu Dhabi and capturing a record 8th world title. That was until the race was stopped and officials essentially created a clear path to 2nd for Max Verstappen, who passed the defending champion to get the race win and his first title. It was a decision that seemed to fly in the face of the F1 rules, causing Mercedes to lodge complaints that were eventually withdrawn. Let’s take a moment to have a quick look at what is coming in 2022 so you can start planning your bets against the Formula 1 odds.

The question now is whether Hamilton will return to take another run at his record-setting win. Hamilton did say that he would be back, but he also stated that it might not be next year. Whether this is something said in the wake of a disappointing ending to the season remains to be seen, but the general consensus seems to be that he wants another crack at it as soon as possible.

While we wait for that story to develop, we can already look ahead to the 2022 season, as Formula 1 has already revealed the schedule for the coming season. We will have a record 23 races on the calendar for 2022, including a new entry that should be exciting for American fans of the sport.

The traditional schedule has been somewhat flipped on its head for the coming season, as races that we are used to seeing late in the year will now open the season. The first race will come in mid-March in Bahrain, followed a couple of weeks later by a trip to Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Grand Prix has traditionally been late in the season, so this move is a bit of a surprise.

When we get into the opening week of May, we have a new addition to the schedule, with the Miami Grand Prix making an appearance for the first time. This will serve as the first of 2 races in the US this coming season, with the other one set to go in October, with just 3 races to come after that one. The Monaco Grand Prix, which is arguably the biggest race on the schedule will take place on the weekend of May 27-29, with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone set to follow soon after.

After the British race, there will be 7 straight races in Europe before we get to the Singapore and Japan Grand Prix in early October. That will take us into the home stretch, with the final race of the 2022 season once again set to take place in Abu Dhabi. The hope is that we get a clear winner without any sort of controversy this time around. Yes, Verstappen probably deserved to win the title after the season he had, but it was still disappointing to see it all play out the way in which it did.
