For many teams, the final week of the college football season ends up being a game that is essentially meaningless. You must give credit to the NCAA for making this final weekend one that everyone can look forward to, as it serves up a healthy batch of rivalry games that need to be deemed “must watch.” The Virginia Cavaliers have had an awful season, but they have the opportunity to end it on a real high. They are an 18.5-point online betting underdog versus their in-state rivals, but if they can pull off the upset, they will potentially prevent the Hokies from winning the ACC Coastal Division and a trip to the Conference Championship game.
There is a reason why the Virginia Tech Hokies are so heavily favored for this one, but you can bet that they are not going to head into a rivalry game taking anything for granted.
