2023 Masters Tournament
The top ranked golfer in the world is always ready to get off to a quick start. The 27-year old started last week at Houston with a 65 in the first round. Even at the Players, Scheffler went with a 67 in the first round. While not mandatory to be leading, Scheffler knows his game is meant to be right with the leaders for the entire 72 holes in this event.

Rory Mcllroy +2000
Mcllroy is 2nd in the world right now, and 66th in the FedEx Cup standings. The 34 year old shot a 65 in his first round the last time he was on tour. That was at the Players Championship back in Mid March. It has not been a great start to 2024 for Mcllroy, but a win at the Masters would be something he has been playing for. Rory is 20/1 to be leading the tournament following the first round.

Jon Rahm +2000
It will be nice for those following the PGA Tour to get a chance to see the 29 year old from Spain again. Rahm was really good in the last two events; including his event at Jeddah, where he went with a 62 to lead the show. Most recently, he finished in the Top 10 at Hong Kong, and went with a 67 in the first round there. Rahm is the defending Masters Champion, as he went -12 last season. The last time someone went back to back was 2001 and 2022 when Tiger Woods did it.

Xander Schauffele +2500
Schauffele is known as a guy that always seems to start hot. The 30 year old went for fifth at the Valspar in his last event. He shot a 68 on the first day. Before that, he finished tied for second at the Players, and went low for a 65 in Round 1. Schauffele is 25/1 to be the leader after Round 1 of the event.

Brooks Koepka +2500
Another guy that the PGA Tour fans will be excited to see. Koepka is another guy that has yet to win a Masters. Koepka is ranked 31st in the world. He went for a low round of 65 at Hong Kong, but went 68 and 71 to follow. Kopeka is no stranger to Augusta National, but will have the shake some of the previous falters early if he wants a chance after Round 1.
