It has been a couple of weeks since the last race in the Truck Series, but the drivers will be back this weekend for a huge race.
They will be hitting the Pocono Raceway for the CRC Brakleen 175, which is the first of the final 3 races of the regular season.

My Analysis
With so few races remaining, the drivers at or near the top of the standings look to be a safe bet to make the playoffs, but the further down the standings you go, the greater the pressure there is on the drivers whose spots are not quite so secure.
It’s going to be a time for all involved, and it’s all going to be fun to watch and wager on.
With that in mind, let’s look at some drivers who could be in the hunt to win this weekend.
^Christian Eckes Truck Series Pick +500
At this stage of the proceedings, I think it’s fair to say that Eckes looks to be a very good bet to finish in the top spot at the end of the regular season.
Whether that translates to success in the playoffs remains to be seen.
He has, though, been incredibly consistent all season long and has only been outside the top 10 in 1 of 13 races this season.
Included in that stretch of form are 3 wins, the most recent of which came in the previous race in Nashville.
He has finished in the top 10 in his last 2 runs on the Pocono track, but I think a top 5 would be a good bet this weekend.

Corey Heim Truck Series Pick +189
The bookies are still of the belief that Heim is the favorite to end the season as the Truck Series champion, and he is certainly living up to the hype, sitting in 2nd overall in the driver standings heading into the home stretch.
Heim is the leader in terms of wins this season, picking up 4 checkered flags through 13 races.
3 of those wins have come in the last 6 races, so he is always a threat to come away with the victory.
He has been in the top 5 in each of the last 2 seasons in Pocono, so I like him to be in the top 3.
^Nicholas Sanchez Truck Series Pick +570
This is just the 2nd full season in the Truck Series for Sanchez, who is looking to improve on his 6th place overall finish in his rookie season.
Things are certainly looking good for him at the moment, and he is on pace to go further this time around.
Sanchez has a couple of wins this season, but he was not particularly good on the Pocono track in his first attempt, barely cracking the top 20 in that one.
I think a top 10 finish this weekend looks to be the most likely scenario.
^Ty Majeski Truck Series Pick +1450
While he is 4th overall at this point, this has not been a particularly impressive season for Majeski, who is still looking for his first win of the year.
He has, though, been in the top 5 in 5 races this season, so it’s not as though he is that far off the pace.
Still, he would like to get that first win before heading into the playoffs, where winning is really rewarded.
Majeski has finished 7th in each of the last 3 runs in Pocono, so expect more of the same.
