The playoffs are already underway in the Truck Series, with the Cup Series set to begin their postseason in a couple of weeks.
We still have some time before the Xfinity Series begins their playoffs, with 5 races still to come before we get to the Round of 12.

My NASCAR Xfinity Series Analysis
The first race of those final 5 comes this week in Daytona with the running of the Wawa 250.
This will be the second visit to Daytona for the Xfinity Series drivers this season, but can we look at the earlier race on this track and get a feel for who might win this weekend.
We will certainly look at that as we talk about the current favorites to win the Xfinity Series Wawa 250, which goes this Friday at 7:30 PM EST.
^Austin Hill +250
If you take the overall runs at Daytona, as opposed to just this race, then it’s easy to understand why Hill is in as the favorite to win this weekend.
He has won the opening race in Daytona in each of the last 3 seasons, but he has not had the same level of success in this particular race.
He has failed to even crack the top 10 in this race over the last 2 seasons. This is not particularly surprising when you consider that Hill has made a habit of getting off to a fast start, only to tail off as the season progresses.
That alone makes me nervous about wagering on Hill this weekend.

Jesse Love +650
This is one of those situations where I assume the bookies know a lot more than I do. This is the first full season in the Xfinity Series for Jesse Love, and it has gone about how you would expect.
He has had some very good moments, including a win in Talladega, but there have also been weeks when he has been well off the pace.
Overall, he is currently sitting in 8th in the driver standings and looking likely to be in the playoffs.
He ran 20th in Daytona earlier this season, so not much to like there. If you want to take a risk, I would play him in the top 3.
^AJ Allmendinger +1000
Earlier this season, Allmendinger finished in the top 10 at Daytona, but if you look back at his previous runs in this particular race, you see back-to-back podium finishes, so I think he is a very good top 3 pick this weekend.
^Justin Allgaier +1000
Besides looking at previous performances on a particular track, I also like to look at the current form for every driver.
Allgaier is on a great run of form right now and is coming off his 2nd win of the season last weekend.
He has now had 6 straight races of finishing in the top 10, which has him now sitting in 2nd overall.
Daytona is a track where Allgaier always seems to be in the hunt, which includes picking up the win in this race last season.
At these odds, I’d definitely tale him for the repeat win.
