Let’s talk about the National Football League. With the NFL season on the horizon, it’s time to dissect Baltimore Ravens win/loss season odds. Can Lamar Jackson lead the Ravens to a winning record, or will they struggle to find their footing?
The gridiron will be busy coming up over the next couple months. We are super excited to get going, but before we do so, we want to walk through some win/loss season odds for a few teams. Up first is the AFC regular season win total leader from a season ago.
2024 Baltimore Ravens Win/Loss Season Odds | MyBookie NFL Betting Analysis for the Regular Season
Ravens Season | 29th in the National Football League – 17th under head coach John Harbaugh
2023: 13–4 record / 1st AFC North
The Baltimore Ravens Quarterback
Of course, the Baltimore Ravens are anchored by their quarterback, and the man that won the 2023 National Football League MVP. Lamar Jackson was great for the Ravens, and helped them acquire the top seed in the AFC. Baltimore went 13-4 on the season, and scored 483 points, while allowing 280.
Lamar, of course, will look to continue that dominance into this season. He got some help in the off-season with the addition of Derrick Henry. While Henry’s age is rising, there still is not a tougher yard for yard running back in the league. He should be able to help Jackson and the offense.
Baltimore Ravens Outlook
The Ravens are put at 11.5 wins for their total this season. They play out of a very difficult AFC North, which saw two other teams make the postseason a season ago.
For context, the Cincinnati Bengals are listed at 10.5 wins, and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are set at 8.5 wins.
Weeks 1-3
A bunch of things will need to go well for the Baltimore Ravens to get to OVER 11.5 wins again this NFL season.
Their schedule is a tough one. Their first two road games are two of the toughest in the league.
hey play the first game of the season on the road at the back to back Super Bowl Champions. The Kansas City Chiefs will be ready for them.
Then, in Week 3, the Ravens are in Dallas to take on the Cowboys. The middle game is at home against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Baltimore will actually do well to be 2-1 coming out of those games, but a chance at 1-2 here.
Weeks 4-7
Weeks 4-7 are a little earlier for Baltimore, but still some challenges. Week 4 sees them taking on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. The Ravens and Bills should be two of the best teams in the AFC. Baltimore will have to contend with Josh Allen and his ability to move the football.
Week 5 is a tough one as well. The Ravens go on the road to a divisional rival. This is at the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. The Bengals are projected to be pretty talented, especially if Joe Burrow can come back healthy.
The next two games should be projected as wins. At home against Washington, and then a road game at Tampa.
The road game at the Buccaneers is Monday Night Football in Week 7. 4-3 or 3-4 here is the likely scenario for Baltimore.
Weeks 8-11
The next four pack of games see three divisional rivalry games. It’s safe to say the AFC North will be loaded, and there is a chance you will split your six games. The first is at the Cleveland Browns.
Next is a home game against the Denver Broncos. Third, is a short turn around, and a Thursday Night Football game at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. This will be the second meeting between these two teams. The final game of this stretch is on the road at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers can fare well in this stretch. Look for a 3-1 mark here, which puts them at 7-4 or 6-5 heading into the final six games.
Weeks 12+13
Two tough games. The first is a Monday Night Football game at the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers have a new look this season, but we still project they are going to be pretty good. The final game before the bye, and the first of December is at home against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Remember Jalen Hurts and his teammates? Yeah, they are still loaded with talent. The Eagles have a chip on their shoulder coming into this season. Philadelphia will be ready for this one.
Do not be surprised at an 0-2 stretch here, but 1-1 could be a safer bet.
Final Stretch
The final four pack of games, and the final stretch of games comes after the Week 14 bye. It’s a late bye, which means they have to keep their health and effort for a long stretch before the break.
The first game after the bye is on the road at the New York Giants. The Giants do not project out to be a very good football team. Then, the Ravens schedule gets a little funk down the stretch. A shorter week before their Saturday game against Pittsburgh on December 21st.
That game is another big time divisional game, and Ravens/Steelers is always full of fun. After that, another short turn around. This time the Wednesday game on the road at Houston.
Many are looking at Houston as a dark horse to win the AFC. This game is on Christmas Day. That marks three games in ten days following the bye. CJ Stroud and the Texans will be ready.
Finally, the Cleveland Browns come to town for the season finale on January 5th. 2-2 or maybe 3-1?
Final Touches
It’s hard to have sustained success in this league, and keep the key guys you need healthy, to remain healthy. This is a brutal schedule, but the result of such a position season a year ago.
The Ravens will be fun to watch, but with our money, we are going to take the UNDER 11.5 wins for them in 2024.
Enjoy the season, and best of luck with all your National Football League betting. It should be a great season!
