We are only two weeks into the 2018 NFL season, but it’s fair to suggest that a couple of early favorites have emerged from the pack. The LA Rams are unbeaten through their opening games of the season, which is not totally unexpected given that they went all in financially to build a team designed to win the Super Bowl. They have looked very good through the opening two weeks of the season, but they will have their hands full this weekend when their city neighbors come calling to the LA Memorial Coliseum. The Chargers have made a bad habit of getting off to a slow start over the past few seasons, and while they have not totally ditched that trend, they are at least coming into this game having picked up their first win of the season last week. The Rams are in as a 7 ½ point favorite for this one, with the point total set at 48 ½.

It really is a case of Super Bowl or bust for the Rams. They had a fantastic regular season in 2017, but they were bounced in the first round of the playoffs. The front office spent a lot of money bringing in some great talent in an effort to put this team over the top and it looks as though that investment is paying off.
