NFL Offensive Players Betting Analysis: Power Rankings Update

NFL Offensive Players Betting Analysis: Power Rankings Update

The NFL is in the second half of their season, which means it’s a good time to check out NFL Offensive Player Rankings. Some players have performed to expectations while other players have exceeded those expectations. Check out the list of the top five quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers based on stats as well as our top NFL Betting pick and second pick to lead their respective position in yards for the season.

Top NFL Offensive Players Rankings (From Week 1 to Week 10)

Top Offensive Player Rankings – Quarterback (Based on Yards)

  1. Matthew Stafford LAR – 3,014
  2. Patrick Mahomes KC – 2,940
  3. Tom Brady TB – 2,870
  4. Derek Carr LV – 2,826
  5. Josh Allen BUF – 2,602

Patrick Mahomes heated up in the game against the Las Vegas Raiders. So much so that he’s a solid play to overtake Matthew Stafford and lead the league in passing yards.

We’re making the KC quarterback our top play. Tom Brady should be up there. So should both Carr and Allen. Among the three, the quarterback with the best chance to lead the league is Brady. He’s our second pick because Tampa Bay can’t rush the football.

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Pick: Patrick Mahomes KC

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Second Pick: Tom Brady TB

Top Offensive Player Rankings – Running Backs

  1. Jonathan Taylor IND – 937
  2. Nick Chubb CLE – 721
  3. Ezekiel Elliott DAL – 663
  4. Dalvin Cook MIN – 648
  5. Najee Harris PIT – 646

Sounds crazy, but heading into NFL Week 11, Tennessee running back Derrick Henry was tied with Jonathan Taylor for the most rushing yards in the league.

Taylor, obviously, will take the outright lead because Henry is out for the season. Will Taylor hang onto it? He most certainly will!

At the time of this writing, Indy was on their way to blasting the Buffalo Bills. The Colts were up 38-13 in the fourth quarter. Taylor had already rushed for 154 yards and 4 TDs.

Our second pick is Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke benefits from playing behind Dak Prescott. Dak is a legit NFL MVP candidate, which means Elliott should continue to excel at running back.

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Pick: Jonathan Taylor

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Second Pick: Ezekiel Elliott

Top Offensive Player Rankings – Wide Receivers

  1. Cooper Kupp LAR – 1,141
  2. Deebo Samuel SF – 979
  3. Davante Adams GB – 864
  4. Tyreek Hill KC – 855
  5. Ja’Marr Chase CIN – 835

We’re going to say Davante Adams, who had 7 catches for 115 yards and 2 TD catches in a close NFL Week 11 game versus the rival Vikings at the time of this writing, overtakes Cooper Kupp.

We like Kupp. But the Rams don’t rush the ball well. Rodgers to Adams should end up the top QB-WR combo in the league.

It’s tough to be in love in love with Deebo Samuel’s chances of leading the league in receiving yards. San Francisco has a tough schedule the rest of the way. We also believe Cincinnati rookie Ja’Marr Chase slows down some.

As Patrick Mahomes goes, so goes Tyreek Hill. The speedy wideout will benefit from Mahome’s reemergence as one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Hill is the second pick.

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Pick: Davante Adams

Offensive Player Stat Yards Leader Second Pick: Tyreek Hill
