Why bet on the New England Patriots?

It was not exactly a vintage performance from the New England Patriots in Week 1, but a 27-20 win over the Houston Texans still needs to be considered a good result. Why bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars?

We all knew the strengths and weaknesses of this team heading into the season, with both clearly on display in the opening week. The defense held firm against the Giants, holding New York to just 15 points, although they did allow Saquon Barkley to rush for over 100 yards. On the offensive side of the football, it was a struggle, especially through the air, with Blake Bortles passing for just 168 yards.
