The second-string secondary won’t have a shot against Mariota, who would be an NFL starting quarterback if not for injuries.

Final Betting Analysis: Seattle Seahawks at Las Vegas Raiders

Even if the Raiders don’t start, or even play Marcus Mariota, Nathan Peterman or fourth-string quarterback Case Cookus should tear up the Seahawks’ secondary.

Seattle’s defense won’t be motivated to stop any quarterback Jon Gruden sends to the field. Gruden, though, will call this game close to the way he’d call a regular season contest.

In 2019, the Raiders won 3-of-4 preseason games. Gruden doesn’t take the preseason off. He uses the games to ready himself as a head coach for the regular season, which means the Raiders should be more focused than the Seahawks, leading to a win and cover.
