Given how the season is going to this point, playoff battles, particularly for the Wild Card spots, are going to go all the way down to the wire.

A win now can set a team on the winning path that leads to the playoffs, so that is what the Steelers and Raiders will be hoping for this weekend.

Pittsburgh is a 3-point road favorite, with the total for this one set at 36 ½.

Given that the Steelers totally cleaned house in the QB room, no one really knew what to expect from them this season.

Russell Wilson was supposed to get the start, but a niggling injury meant that Justin Fields became QB 1.

He helped lead the Steelers to a perfect 3-0 start, but the wheels have come off in the last couple of weeks, with Pittsburgh losing back-to-back games, including a heartbreaking Sunday night loss to the Cowboys last weekend.

The Steelers are now 6-3 SU in their last 9 games, plus they have won 2 of their 3 road games already this season.

They have not been great against the spread versus Vegas, going just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 meetings.

When you see a team having problems, there are several factors that are generally at the root of the problem.

At the top of the list is very often the play of the starting QB, which is just one of the reasons why the Raiders are coming into Week 6 with a 2-3 record.

They made the decision to bench Gardner Minshew in favor of Aiden O’Connell for this game, but there are still questions as to whether this will have any impact, especially with Davante Adams already set to miss this game due to injury.

Week 6 has not been kind to the Raiders over the years, as they are just 4-14 SU in their last 18 games played in Week 6.
