Another week of NFL action is in the books, and we are now heading into the homestretch, where wins and losses become much more important.
Whether we recognize it or not, the battle for playoff spots starts in Week 1, but the harsh reality is that we only really start to take notice of the playoff races once we get into the second half of the season.
My NFL Week 11 Must Bet Games Analysis
Things are beginning to take shape in both conferences, but there are still some incredibly tight divisional battles going on, all of which could shape the playoffs and help decide the path that each team will need to take to win the Super Bowl.

Week 11 is up next, and we have some fantastic games on tap, so let’s look ahead and quickly break down the matchups that look to be the best in Week 11 of the NFL.
^TNF Washington Commanders +155 at Philadelphia Eagles -192
Thursday, November 14, 2024, 8:15 PM, Prime Video | Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
You can’t ask for a much better way to start Week 11 of the season, as the Thursday night game is delivering an absolute beauty in the form of a massive divisional matchup. The Washington Commanders had the lead in the NFC East heading into Week 10, but they lost that lead by dropping a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their own building, going down 28-27.
That defeat opened the door for the Philadelphia Eagles, who took advantage of the opening with a total hammering of another divisional rival in the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles can take real control of the division with a win here, but it’s not going to be an easy task. The Eagles are favored by 3 ½, with the point total set at 49.
^Green Bay Packers -265 at Chicago Bears +208
Sunday, November 17, 2024, 1:00 PM, FOX | Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
While not quite at the level of some of the other divisional games we are going to discuss here, this is still a big game in its own right. The Packers are still very much in the hunt for a division crown, but I they cannot get that, they still need to stay on the pace for a Wild Card spot.
The Packers are at 6-3, which has them down in 3rd in the division, and while they are still in decent shape in terms of the playoffs, they cannot afford a loss if they are to try and run down the Lions at the top. After a positive start to the season, the wheels are starting to come off for the Chicago Bears, who have lost 3 in a row and dropped below .500. A road trip to Chicago is never an easy one, but the Packers are currently favored by 6, with the total set at 41.
^Baltimore Ravens -181 at Pittsburgh Steelers +146
Sunday, November 17, 2024, 1:00 PM, CBS | Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA
We have another massive divisional battle coming our way this weekend, with the lead in the AFC North up for grabs in this one. The Baltimore Ravens are currently sitting in 2nd, which is sure to be a surprise to some, as they were the clear favorites to once again reign supreme in the North. The Ravens have won 2 in a row to get to 7-2 this season, but they are coming off something of an escape last weekend, where they just managed to scrape past the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Steelers are something of a surprise package, sitting at the top of the division with a 7-2 record. They are a perfect 3-0 with Russell Wilson under center, plus they have been fantastic on defense, so this is certainly a very dangerous team. The Ravens are favored by 3, with the total set at 48 ½.
^Atlanta Falcons +110 at Denver Broncos -134
Sunday, November 17, 2024, 4:05 PM, FOX | Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
It was a rough weekend for both of these teams, as they both fell to defeats in Week 10. The Falcons loss to the New Orleans Saints was probably the most shocking of the two, as they were going against a team that were on a 7-game losing skid, and who had just fired their head coach. Despite that loss, the Falcons are still in good shape at the top of the South, sitting at 6-4, which is 2 more wins than their closest rival.
The Broncos were expected to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend, but they came very close to springing the upset, which has to be a sign of just how far this team has come since the start of the season when they looked well off it. The Broncos are now 5-5 and really need a win to keep pace in the Wild Card race. The Broncos are a modest 2-point favorite at home, with the point total set at 44.
^Seattle Seahawks +226 at San Francisco 49ers -290
Sunday, November 17, 2024, 4:05 PM, FOX | Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
If you had to pick the most wide-open division in the NFL right now, there would probably be a lot of votes for the NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals are the surprise leaders at the moment, but it’s not a lead that is comfortable, as they have just 2 more wins than the team at the bottom, who just happen to be the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks are on the slide at the moment, losing 2 in a row to fall to 4-5, so they really need a win to snap out of this mini slump. The 49ers are slowly on the rise and have now won 2 in a row to get to 5-4 this season, which has them just 1 win back of the Cardinals at the top. The 49ers should have the edge at home, which is something the bookies agree with, putting San Francisco in as a 6 ½ point favorite. The total for this one is set at 44.
^Kansas City Chiefs +112 at Buffalo Bills -137
Sunday, November 17, 2024, 4:25 PM, CBS | Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
Over the past few seasons, this has been the matchup that football fans have circled on the calendar. These two have delivered some classics during that stretch, and the hope is that we will get more of the same on Sunday afternoon. The Kansas City Chiefs come into this one as the only unbeaten team in the league, and while that is certainly impressive, they have had some very close calls during that run.
This feels like a team that is ready to take a loss sooner rather than later. The Bills are sitting at 8-2 this season and are basically now just a couple of wins away from clinching the division, so they are in great shape. The Bills are a modest 2 ½ point home favorite, with the total set at 45 ½.
