NFL 2021 Season Week 7 O/U Betting Picks & Predictions

NFL 2021 Season Week 7 O/U Betting Picks & Predictions

Week 6 proved to be a good one for us in terms of our selections, although I do have to say that it was long overdue given that we are off to a slow start. We hit 3-game parlays in out SU and ATS picks, but we also continued to struggle without point total picks. We need to get back on track with that this week, as do several teams who find themselves drifting a little too far out of the playoff picture. Yes, it is still very early in the season, but it can quickly get to a point where getting back in the hunt becomes close to impossible. On the flipside, there are a few teams who are hitting their stride and beginning to look like contenders, but they will know like we do, that there is a long way to the finish line. Let’s now get on it and get to our O/U picks for Week 7 of the NFL season so you can bet against the NFL odds.

Week 7 O/U Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

Kansas City Chiefs at Tennessee Titans (OVER 57)

We have already seen a lot of surprises this season in the NFL, and we got another in Week 6, with the Tennessee Titans outlasting the Buffalo Bills in a highly entertaining shootout. In that same week, the Kansas City Chiefs got back to winning ways after a period of struggle that saw them sitting at the bottom of the division heading into Week 6. The Chiefs are now on a run where they have seen the point total in 4 of their last 6 games go OVER. For the Titans, it has been 4 of the last 5 that have gone over, while 7 of the last 10 meetings between these two have gone the same route. Everything here seems to point to the OVER.

Detroit Lions at LA Rams (UNDER 50 ½)

One game that stands out on the Week 7 schedule is the Lions heading to LA to face the Rams. Yes, it looks like a total mismatch, but it will be the first time that Matthew Stafford will face the team that he spent his entire career with before moving to LA. While it would be more fun if it was being played in Detroit, it is still going to be cool to watch. The expectation is that the Rams will easily handle the winless Detroit Lions, but what we are looking at here is the point total. Given the struggles of the Lions, it is no real surprise that 4 of their last 5 games have gone UNDER. The over has been trending for the Rams except in one area, which is that they have seen the UNDER hit in 5 of their last 7 versus the NFC North.

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (OVER 47)

Every week, there tends to be one or two picks where you either work off a hunch or decide that it’s a good idea to go against the current trends. This game certainly falls into that category in terms of the point total. After all, you have a Bears offense that is struggling and a team that has seen the under hit in each of their last 5 games. How much offense are they going to be able to put up against the defending Super Bowl champions? One the flipside, Brady and the Buccaneers are humming and have seen the OVER hit in 4 of their last 6. I am leaning OVER with this one.
