Can St. Louis Score Against the Herons?

Inter Miami picked up one of its best wins of the season last weekend. Playing without its three top stars, Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez, the Herons picked up a win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.

But Inter Miami turned in a poor performance during the midweek against Atlanta.

The Herons’ backline has been prone to poor performances this season. Inter Miami conceded three goals to the Five Stripes, which was the sixth time this season the Herons allowed two or more goals.

Inter Miami is a -225 favorite to beat St. Louis SC this weekend.

St. Louis has seen its second season in the MLS been tough. St. Louis is +500 to win in regulation, while the match is +400 to end in a draw.

The over/under has been set at 3.5 goals. This should be a good spot for Miami to bounce back.

Galaxy in Good Spot for Road Win

Los Angeles won its last two games convincingly against Dynamo FC and FC Dallas.

The Galaxy have scored five goals combined in their previous two matches.

Against FC Dallas last time out, Los Angeles generated an xG of 3.6. Dejuan Joveljic has scored a team-high nine goals for the Galaxy this season.

Chicago is on a nine-game winless stretch. The Fire haven’t scored more than two goals in a match in over a month. Chicago’s attack has suffered, generating an xG of 1.3 or less during this stretch.

Chicago is +155 to win in regulation, while Los Angeles is priced at the same number.

The match is +260 to end in a draw.

This should be a match Los Angeles could steal.

Portland has Picked Up the Pace

The Timbers have picked up three wins in their previous four matches.

Portland is +118 on the three-way moneyline, while Houston is +220 to win in regulation. The match is +250 to end in a draw.

Portland has put together consecutive strong performances, beating Sporting KC and Austin.

The Timbers’ attack is led by Aliyu Ibrahim, who has scored a team-high four goals. The Dynamo are 2-2-1 over its previous five matches.

Houston bounced back with a nice 3-1 win over the Rapids last time out.

Back to Portland to pick up another win at home.
