King Mo Lawal vs Andrew Kapel

King Mo suffered from one of the fastest knockout losses in history at Bellator 199. Ryan “Darth” Bader laid the hammer on King Mo early. That knocked Lawal to the ground. From there, it was over. Andrew Kapel saw that fight. The 14-6 fighter has to step it up in this spot. He last battled this past February in a Hooser Fight Club Event. Mo is too big of a step up for Kapel. Expect Lawal to get back on the winning track. Bellator Betting Pick: King Mo Lawal

Leslie Smith vs Arlene Blencowe

Bellator 223’s Women’s Featherweight Feature Fight showcases 11-7-1 Leslie Smith. She last fought at Bellator 224. In that match, Smith beat Sinead Kavanaugh via decision. At 36-years-old, Smith shows no signs of slowing down.

Arlene Blencowe has a good 12-7 record. She beat Amanda Bell via TKO after only 22 seconds at Bellator 224. Blencowe has a big shot in this. She’s giving up 4 inches in height to Smith, though. Back the taller fighter.

Bellator Betting Pick: Leslie Smith

Tyrell Fortune vs Azunna Anyanwu

The Heavyweight Feature Fight pits 7-0 Fortune against 15-5 Anyanwu. Fortune is the slightly taller man, 6’ 2” versus 6” 1”. Anyanwu is the heavier man, 265 pounds versus 249 pounds. Although Anyanwu brings more weight into this bout, he’s a Cage Fighting Championships brawler.

Fortune has dominated at Bellator. He’s done it via submission, knockout, and decision. That makes Fortune the top play of any of the main card bouts.

Bellator Betting Pick: Tyrell Fortune

John Salter vs Costello Van Steenis

John Salter has a great 16-4 record. He had been on a 5-match winning streak before losing to Rafael Lovato Jr. on Sep. 21, 2018. He followed that up with a victory in November of 2018. The layoff could be a problem for Salter.

Van Steenis, 12-1, knocked out Michael Shipman this past June. Van Steenis has quickly become one of the most feared fighters at Bellator. He’s lengthy, has a great ground game, and good defense. He should handle Salter on Friday night. Back Van Steenis to score.

Bellator Betting Pick: Costello Van Steenis
