Mayorga has stated in an interview with publication Nuevo Diario that if he loses against he will retire from boxing.

Also on Saturday April 6 in Wolfsburg, Germany Patrick Wojcicki and Marcelo Fabian Caceres will thrown down in a 12-round  middleweight headline bout while junior middleweights Steve Forbes and Tavorus Teague will meet in a 7-round bout that headlines the card there in Clackamas, Oregon. Last, but not least, in Pico Rivera, California, Adan Ochoa and Mario Ayala will meet in a 6-round featherweight showdown of rising hopefuls.
