Top Boxing Betting Picks for the Week – Dec. 10th Edition

Friday, Dec. 14

Gilberto Ramirez vs Jesse Hart

  • On ESPN+
Gilberto Ramirez puts his undefeated 38-0 record on the line versus Jesse Hart on Friday. Ramirez, the WBO World Super Middleweight Champion, already beat Hart in a unanimous decision back on Sep. 22, 2017.

Hart allowed Ramirez to walk him down in the first fight. Gilberto should stalk again before landing punches that, this time, might make it a short night. Ramirez by TKO/KO looks more than possible.

Boxing Pick: Ramirez via TKO/KO

Saturday, Dec. 15

Sadam Ali vs Mauricio Herrera

  • On DAZN
Sadam Ali looks to get back on the winning track after losing to Jaime Munguia this past May. Ali had beaten Miguel Cotto in late 2017. Then, with the weight of the world on his shoulders, got TKO’ed by Munguia in his very next fight.

Ali should out point Herrera in this. He’s only lost twice while Herrera’s lost 7 times. Unless the knockout loss to Munguia has affected Ali for the rest of his career, he’ll manage at least a decision victory if not knockout Herrera before the final round.

Boxing Betting Pick: Sadam Ali via Decision

David Lemieux vs Tureano Johnson

The ever popular 40-4 David Lemieux battles 20-2 Tureano Johnson in a fight Lemieux must win to remain a top boxing draw. Lemieux’s only 29-years-old. He also goes into this having won 5-of-6. The lone loss was to tough Billy Joe Saunders.

Tureano isn’t fast enough to keep Lemieux from using inside/outside movement to get the job done via unanimous decision. Lemieux hasn’t lost enough for Tureano to pull off the upset. The fight should be entertaining if Lemieux takes some chances. If he doesn’t, he’ll just dart back and forth and land punches for a unanimous decision.

Boxing Betting Pick: Lemieux via Decision

Rocky Fielding +885 vs Canelo Alvarez -1470

Fielding’s in over his head versus one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world. The real value’s in making a decision on when Canelo knocks Fielding out. The folks at DAZN gave Canelo the largest contract in the history of sports.

This if more of an exhibition match with Alvarez having his way with Rocky from the opening bell. So, when will Canelo knock out Rocky? The third round? Round 4, Round 5? Take your pick.

Boxing Betting Pick: Canelo via KO
