Betting on the Weekend Boxing Odds for Title Fights Starting on Saturday
One of the most popular boxers in any division steps back into the ring on Saturday night when Emmanuel Navarrete takes on Charly Suarez.
The hard hitting Navarrete is an over -500 favorite to retain his WBO Junior Lightweight title.
Before Navarrete and Suarez throw down, Raymond Muratalla takes on Zaur Abdullaev for the IBF Lightweight Interim strap.
Earlier in the day, DAZN has a great fight card they’ll stream from Nottingham, England, highlighted by Anthony Cacace versus Leigh Wood and Liam Davies against Kurt Walker.

Erickson Lubin -319 vs Andreal Holmes Jr. +226
Saturday, May 10th, 2025
Kissimmee, Florida
Champ Sebastian Fundora beat Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin via referee stoppage back in 2022.
Since then, Lubin has fought twice, taking down Luis Arias via fifth round technical knockout and besting Jesus Alejandro Ramos via 12-round unanimous decision.
Andreal Holmes Jr. should be Lubin’s toughest fights since the loss to Fundora.
Holmes Jr. is 17-0 with 6 stoppage victories.
For sure, Holmes Jr. hasn’t come close to taking on a pugilist with Lubin’s skill set.
So Erickson should be the chalk in this, reason why he is favorite in the boxing odds.
But undefeated fighters are undefeated for a reason and Lubin lost both of his fights via knockout.
Give the dog a shot a bark.
Boxing Pick: Andreal Holmes Jr.
Anthony Cacace -170 vs Leigh Wood +128
Saturday, May 10th, 2025
Nottingham, England – DAZN
26-1 with 8 stoppage victories, favored Anthony Cacace looks like he’ll be tough for Leigh Wood to handle.
Although 36, Cacace fights like a much younger boxer.
The Irishman has an iron chin that has served him well during his career.
Wood is 28-3 with 17 stoppage wins.
The slight dog in this hasn’t fought since 2023.
After losing to Mauricio Lara, Wood bounced back by exacting revenge over Lara.
Then in his last, Wood beat Josh Warrington via seventh round technical knockout.
The time off won’t help Wood.
Also, the dog lost both of his bouts via stoppage.
So Cacace could get to Wood before the final round.
The odds are more than fair on the fave to get it done.
Boxing Pick: Anthony Cacace
Liam Davies -400 vs Kurt Walker +270
Saturday, May 10th, 2025
Nottingham, England – DAZN
Liam Davies is a massive -400 favorite to hand Kurt Walker his first loss.
The underdog is 12-0 and has fought decent opponents.
Also, Walker is Irish, which means his boxing training is legit.
But with that being written, Walker has yet to step into the ring with a fighter like Davies.
The favorite is 16-1 with 8 stoppage wins.
Davies is a year younger than Walker and Walker has just 2 knockout victories to his credit.
The fighter with more power and experience should score the victory.
Consider a stoppage prop, either TKO or KO, on Davies because Walker faces the most power he ever has in the ring.
Boxing Pick: Liam Davies
Writer’s Boxing Picks for NMuratalla vs Abdullaev IBF Lightweight Interim Title
Raymond Muratalla -450 vs Zaur Abdullaev +300
IBF Lightweight Interim Title
Saturday, May 10th, 2025
San Diego, California – ESPN/ESPN+
Zaur Abdullaev has a great record.
The dog is 20-1 with 12 stoppage wins.
The loss came via knockout, though, and on Saturday night Abdullaev takes a highly rated boxer.
Raymond Muratalla boasts a 22-0 record.
The 28-year-old from Fontana, California, has knocked out 17 of his opponents.
To be fair, much of what’s on Muratalla’s record were handpicked competition.
But that shouldn’t deter us from backing Muratalla because he’s also been in the ring versus opponents like Tevin Farmer and Diego Torres Nunez.
Muratalla wins and he has a great shot of winning via knockout.
So consider backing the fave via a prop bet.
Boxing Pick: Raymond Muratalla

Writer’s Boxing Picks for Navarrete vs Suarez WBO Junior Lightweight Title
Emmanuel Navarrete -526 vs Charly Suarez +340
WBO Junior Lightweight Title
Saturday, May 10th, 2025
San Diego, California – ESPN/ESPN+
18-0 with 10 stoppage wins, Filipino boxer Charly Suarez has a great record.
Records, though, don’t mean much when taking on a fighter like Navarrete.
There is nothing on Suarez’s record, the opponents he’s faced, or his style that suggests he can hang with the champ.
Navarrete is 39-2-1 and comes off a knockout victory over Oscar Valdez.
Valdez is a much more skilled boxer than Suarez and Emmanuel dominated him, ending Oscar’s night in the sixth in a scheduled 12-round bout.
Navarrete wins via stoppage.
Boxing Pick: Emmanuel Navarrete

Writer’s Boxing Odds for Title Fights for Martinez vs Ioka WBA Junior Bantamweight Title
Fernando Daniel Martinez -340 vs Kazuto Ioka +240
WBA Junior Bantamweight Title
Sunday, May 11th, 2025
Tokyo, Japan
Fernando Daniel Martinez is 17-0 with 9 stoppage wins.
For sure, Martinez can win this but he heads to Tokyo to take on one of Japan’s more popular boxers.
So it won’t be easy, you know that the boxing odds for title fights will be tough.
Ioka is 31-3-1 and loss a unanimous decision in the first fight.
What can Ioka do to turn the tables? It’s tough to know.
Still, the odds make it sound like Martinez has this in the bag.
FDM won the first bout via decision.
So the chalk winning isn’t a sure thing.
Grab the decent odds on Ioka to have figured out his opponent.
Boxing Pick: Kazuto Ioka
