Friday, March 5th Bouts

Estelle Moseley Vs Verena Kaiser – How Will Moseley win?

  • Moseley by KO, TKO, or DQ +500
  • Moseley by Decision or Technical Decision -400
  • Draw or Technical Draw +1800

There’s a reason Estelle Moseley is such a massive favorite against Verena Kaiser. 8-0 with a knockout win, Moseley has tremendous skills. Her footwork is excellent for a fighter with just 8 pro bouts. Verena Kaiser is 14-1 with 6 knockouts.

We’d love to back Kaiser on the moneyline, but the last time she fought someone with Moseley’s skills, her opponent beat her. More importantly, Kaiser just doesn’t have the speed to hang with someone like Moseley. Moseley by decision or technical decision is the logical pick. We’ll go with Moseley to knockout Kaiser or provide a technical knockout.

Boxing Pick: Moseley by KO, TKO, or DQ

Liam Paro Vs Terry Tzouramanis – How Will Paro win?

  • Paro by KO, TKO, or DQ +185
  • Paro by Decision or Technical Decision -190
  • Draw or Technical Draw +2000

Like Moseley versus Kaiser, the underdog appears hopelessly overmatched in this. Tzouramanis has an okay record, 23-4 with 3 knockout wins, but on Saturday, he faces an undefeated fighter with 12 knockouts from 19 victories.

Liam Paro does a good job measuring the distance on his punches. He doesn’t waste punches and always throws at least two at a time. Things like that will lead to a Paro knockout win.

Boxing Pick: Paro by KO, TKO, or DQ +185

Joel Tambwe Djeko Vs Tony Yoka – In What Round Will Yoka Win?

Djeko has a 17-2 record. He’s won 8 of his wins via knockout. Djeko has decent skills but two things will derail his shot at an upset win on Friday night. First, he keeps his hands low and, therefore, is prone to getting hit in the face. Second, he faces a potential monster in this.

Tony Yoka is 9-0. 7 of his wins came via knockout. He’s a better defensive fighter than Djeko. Based on his record, he also has more power.

This fight takes place in Yoka’s native France. It’s hard seeing Tambwe pulling off the upset. So we’ll take a shot on the round in which Yoka sends his opponent to the locker room.

A boxer has yet to knock out Joel Tambwe Djeko. Also, Yoka went the distance in his last bout. It makes sense to look towards the later rounds for a Yoka victory.

Even though Tambwe has never tasted power like what Yoka will bring to the ring, we must give Djeko some respect. The 9th looks promising.

Boxing Pick: Round 9

Claressa Shields Vs Marie Eve-Dicaire – How Will Shields win?

  • Shields by KO, TKO, or DQ +260
  • Shield by Decision or Technical Decision -225
  • Draw or Technical Draw +1800

It’s going to be tough for Marie Eve-Dicaire to pull off the victory. The real bet is how Claressa Shields wins. The odds say she takes down Eve-Dicaire via a decision or technical decision.

That makes sense. Claressa is 10-0 with 2 knockout victories. She hasn’t scored a knockout win since 2017. Also, Marie Eve-Dicaire is undefeated at 17-0. Claressa should win because Dicaire doesn’t have a single victory via KO. We’ll take the low odds on a Shields decision.

Boxing Pick: Shields by Decision or Technical Decision
