  • British Columbia Lions at Montreal Alouettes
British Columbia broke a 2-game losing streak in their last with a nice 26-14 win over Ottawa. The Lions entered the home contest as -1.5 favorite. They squashed the spread. BC beat Montreal 22-10 way back on June 22. Montreal, though, has played great. They upset Ottawa SU 21-11 as +16 dogs in their last. In the game before Montreal upset Toronto 25-22 as +5 dogs. The Alouettes ride a two game win streak into this one against BC. They’ve covered 4 straight. Montreal’s the play both on the moneyline and against the spread. CFL Week 14 Pick: Montreal Alouettes

Saturday, Sep 15

  • Calgary Stampeders at Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Calgary’s 28-14 win over Hamilton feels like an entire season ago. The Stampeders opened this CFL Season with the win over the Tiger-Cats back on June 16. Calgary’s only lost 2 games this season. Both were on the road and both happened in their last 4. The signs point to the Stampeders stubbing their toes again. Calgary is 1-4 ATs in their last 5 games. They lost 42-48 to Edmonton on Sep. 8. Hamilton’s won 3 in a row. The Tiger-Cats should win and cover again on Sep. 15. CFL Week 14 Pick: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
  • Ottawa RedBlacks at Saskatchewan Rough Riders
Ottawa last faced Saskatchewan on June 21. The RedBlacks had no trouble against the Rough Riders. They beat their CFL rivals 40-17. Since then, things haven’t gone so well for the RedBlacks. They aren’t as solid of a Grey Cup contender as so many believed they’d be. Saskatchewan might be a solid Grey Cup contender. The Rough Riders dominated Winnipeg 44-21 in a road game on August 17. Saskatchewan’s ability to go into Winnipeg and beat a quality team like the Blue Bombers tells us all we need to know about how well they can handle a quality squad like Ottawa at home. Rough Riders SU and ATS. CFL Week 14 Pick: Saskatchewan Rough Riders
