CFL Week 21 Betting Preview & Top Picks

Friday, Nov. 2

  • Toronto Argonauts at Ottawa RedBlacks
The Argos have gone 1-8 SU in their last 9. The horrible straight up record goes all the way back to August 24 when Montreal beat them 25-22. Toronto’s only other win during all those failures was against Montreal, a 26-22 victory on Oct. 20.

While losing straight up, Toronto also hasn’t done much against the spread. They’re 1-8 SU. They’re 2-7 ATS. This should be a an absolute disaster show for Toronto Argonauts’ fans on Friday night. Ottawa wins and covers.

CFL Week 21 Pick: Ottawa RedBlacks

Saturday, Nov. 3

  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Edmonton Eskimos
Winnipeg’s on a roll having won their last 5 both straight up and against the spread. The Blue Bombers beat Edmonton 30-3 in Edmonton on Sep. 29. They took down Calgary 29-21 in their last on Oct. 26 as a -3.5 favorite.

No CFL squad’s hotter than the Winnipeg Blue Bombers heading into the playoffs. Because they so thoroughly dominated Edmonton about a month ago, the Bombers are the pick to dominate the Eskimos again.

CFL Week 21 Pick: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  • Montreal Alouettes at Hamilton Tiger-Cats
There’s a huge chance Hamilton’s overplayed in this game. When the two teams battled on August 3, the Tiger-Cats dominated the Alouettes 50-11. Since that time, Montreal’s lost 7-of-10. But, the Alouettes have gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4.

Montreal’s got a slim shot to beat Hamilton straight up. They’re the play in a game that CFL odds makers might feel leads to an easy Hamilton win and cover.

CFL Week 21 Pick: Montreal Alouettes
  • Calgary Stampeders at British Columbia Lions
The wheels have fallen off the Calgary Grey Cup train. The Stampeders head into the final CFL Regular Season Week a 3-game straight loser. Starting on Oct. 13, Calgary has lost 21-26 to British Columbia, 24-29 to Saskatchewan, and 21-29 to scorching Winnipeg.

Calgary should lose again. BC will beat Calgary, sending the Stampeders into the Grey Cup Playoffs a 4-game straight loser.

CFL Week 21 Pick: British Columbia Lions
