Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 Preview

On Thursday, HBO released its weekly preview and GoTers everywhere can make some quick assumptions based on the 41-second clip. Daenerys and Jon Snow are shown looking down on their forces who are clearly preparing for battle.

“We have won the great war,” Daenerys says at Winterfell with Missandei and Varys at her side. “Now we will win the last war.”

Another shot shows the Mother of Dragons raising her glass in front of a roaring fire in a room full of cheering allies before a voiceover of her says, “We’ll rip her out, root and stem.”

Now, Game of Throne followers already know that the “last battle” isn’t against the Night King seeing as how he was taken out by Arya during last week’s episode 3 fight at the Starks’ ancestral home in the North.

The teaser also includes dragons flying, ships sailing and lots of shots of Cersei and Euron Greyjoy looking particularly bold. While the official trailer does a pretty good job of concealing Daenerys and Jon’s plan for defeating Cersei and taking the Iron Throne, fans can probably safely assume that the beloved heroes are likely headed straight to Dragonstone. The promo for Game of Thrones Season 8 showed Dany in what’s clearly Dragonstone castle and viewers should assumes that’s the destination seeing as how the site holds some clear strategic advantages for anyone planning to attack the Iron Throne.

Whatever lies ahead on this coming weekend’s fourth episode of Season 8, you can get your fill of Game of Thrones betting action at MyBookie.
